How does "skilled dribble" differ from "pace control"?

I recall that, in FIFA09, I could get more "composed" shots if I was using pace control.

I felt like the player progression was too fast on FIFA09. It was great when I had a player improve +8 or +10 OVR in a single season - but that did not seem very realistic to me. So I purposefully limited myself in how much I would upgrade these coaches - in an effort to prevent totally unbelievable player growth. I usually capped these out at [ 4 or 5 ].

-- TRAINER --

I like the challenge of having to rotate my line-up. It makes me feel like I am doing more "managing" and it gives me a chance to get game time for more of my players. I did not want my trainer to be "too high" because I did want to see some fatigue effects. I upped this staff position in the early going (when my team was dying of fatigue) but then I left it alone. I would cap this at [ 6 or 7 ].

-- NEGOTIATOR --

I really enjoy the player movement part of MM. I felt that there was real value in having a high-level negotiator. This (seemed) to help me have success in the transfer market. It is not usually my strategy to go after "name players" - instead I like to look for good bargains or young players. I liked to spend money for improvement in this staff position. I would try to get this to [ 9 or 10 ].

-- SCOUT --

Similar to my discussion about the negotiator ... I also really enjoy using the scout to find new talent. I think it is fun in MM to "discover" a young player and then see him improve while he plays for your team. I would invest heavily in this staff position. I would try to get this to [ 9 or 10 ].

-- STADIUM --

I never really felt that this was worth it. If I had more information, I could build some sort of spreadsheet to calculate the marginal cost of the stadium upgrade vs. the extra dollars from increased ticket sales. My guess is that ... it is not worth it. It costs more to improve the stadium then you get back. I usually saved this position to last. I only put money in here after I had capped out the other staff positions to my liking. I would usually leave this alone [ 3 or 4 ].

So - are they any changes in FIFA10 that I should know about? Anything that might change how I should weigh the value of the various staff positions? I have the budget when the MM initially gets started ... I am trying to decide how to spend that in the early going.

1. Single breakaway towards the keeper.
I have so many of these, yet I can never figure out which skill moves work best to get the ball around the keeper. I usually just end up shooting without putting any skill moves on, and a lot of the time it never works out. So what skill moves work best in a 1-1 situation like this?

2. My player running down the pitch with a defender running next to me
Is there a move to get around him without having to just keep running forward and hoping I knock him off me?

I'm currently playing in tournament mode in the Premier League. I'm controlling all 20 teams so I'm playing every single game of the league. No matter if I am Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal it always seems that Birmingham City are the thorn in my side.

Twice in a row now I've played against them and they have scored an injury time equalizer.

Now so far EA has been very adamant in saying that they do not plan on releasing a 3rd patch, however this glitch definitely renders MM as broken or unplayable to me. Players are left with 2 options, start off with the team they intend of staying with and face a high chance to be sacked quickly, or do as the designers intended and work your way up to the best teams.

But after all your hard work in climbing the ranks you are rewarded with a budget that reads -2 billion dollars. :jpshakehe

These teams are as accurate as I could get with the limited ability to customise, so some suspension of disbelief is necessary. I have tried to utilize most existing players from the national squads and include every team in the UEFA cups.

I had more difficulty this year matching kits, so the teams are more spread out. However I tried to only replace teams in lower leagues with less than three stars. (Mostly in Poland, Norway, and Sweden) The bonus is that if you are playing in MM, these teams will appear in the Champions League and Europa League instead of a Swedish or Norweign team, of which there are none in reality. (No offense to Swedish or Norweign fans, that's just the reality.) If you want to play MM with one of these teams then I have a consolidated file with most teams in Poland, but the kits are not accurate. Like I said, they aren't perfect, but close.

I have avoided using any custom formations, because we've discovered that they lead to the horrible "orange dot" problem where your players become GKs without names.

In order to use the file on your system you will need to follow these steps:

First - copy your OWN squads (not the ones you downloaded in this thread) to a USB pen drive. You will have a folder similar to the ones that are included in the squads posted here.

Second - substitute the sys-data file that you have on YOUR squads, for the one inside the BLUS303850101 folder is posted HERE!

Remember substitute ONLY the sys-data file inside the BLUS303850101 folder (itīs the BIGGER sys-data file, the one in the other folder is way smaller in size).

Put the folder with the updated sys-data file inside the PS3/SAVEDATA folder and copy it to your PS3.

Concluding: you maintain all the files that are created inside the folder for the squads, EXCEPT the sys-data file, were you use the new one posted here!!!

Now, the difficult part is remembering which teams are which, so keep this list:
