We don't know what happened here at the associated press, but the word on the street is that the entire league is going to have to pool together their players and draft from the ground up all over again. The cover story used is to promote some sort of equality for hockey markets, making up for the recent recession by giving every team a fighting chance at a Cup for the following year.

The Boston Bruins (Gauntsghost. Hey, give me a break, I have to do all the draft screens and writeups) have snagged the first overall pick in the draft, followed by the LA Kings (SabresKings). Stay here for comprehensive draft details.

With the first overall pick, the Boston Bruins welcomed Alexander Ovechkin to the team. With their second pick, they selected Jarome Iginla, who was surprisingly still in the pool. I'm connected to the inernet through the PS3, i can update the system, download demos, but I can not download patches for these EA games. I will be told there is a new version, and it will start to download. I've attempted 30 times and the highest % it gets to is 6%. Is there anyplace to download the demo online and transfer it with a stick? Any other ideas? My wireless internet works fine on my laptop, works fine for playing online games, it is only when I try to download patches.
