Buddy Knox's ESPN NFL 2K5 Sliders!!!

I posted these in another thread at the request of a user. I figured I'd drop them here so some of you slider junkies can give them a whirl. I get some great games out of these settings. You pay for your mistakes, but you won't get cheesed by the cpu either. hopefully you get as many great games as i have.

I guess I had to come home and become a Madden-er well at least Brett "Hitman" Favre is holding me down at least one more year. As for Jets opponents remember 4th down is no longer a punting situation! LMAO!

glad you're enjoying them.

i've been using noplace's rosters.

http://forums.operationsports.com/vB...d.php?t=132392

there are more up to date rosters out there, but i haven't tried any other ones to this point. i think he did a great job with his and i'll wait around until a week or two into the season to see if he plans on updating them.

sounds good. Is there any possible way to get the correct scheduling for the 2006 season with these rosters? maybe some type of edit program?

I havent checked the 2k boards in months so im trying to catch up to everything going on. I tried to go to madden, but no dice.

nice nice...

running in ESPN is all about three things.... finding the holes, trusting your blockers, and not being afraid to change direction if you see something that you can possibly exploit. i notice a lot of people either try to plow through the defender everytime or tap the speed burst and hope they get a ton of yards. there's really no quick guide to becoming a good runner, but if you remember those things you should be just fine.

p.s.... the right analog stick is heavenly....

Re: Buddy Knox's ESPN NFL 2K5 Sliders!!!

hey man took ur advice on the running game and bro am i havn a blast with these sliders, but i just wanted to ask u guys if you are expiriencing the same problem as i am. The games i have played are very close and intense but for some reason it is like cpu lets me win the game in the end. If you played Madden on all-pro you will know wat i am talkin bout. For instance i was playin dolphins and i was winning 24 to 23. Dolphins had a ball on my 20 yard line with only a minute to go and it was a 4th down. You would think that the only solution is to kick a fg and let their defense finish the game but noooo, they went and tryed to convert a 4th down and well lost the game. BUDDY if you reading this please help if you know how. These are the best sliders i have played and im truly loving them. My only soulution is to maybe adjust the sliders but starting from Legend level, some players have posted that it makes a diffrence in game play. PEACE
