At this moment it's just the roster file. I'm working on a franchise file right now.
For sliders I recommend boosting all the computer offense ones all the way up, and all the human defense ones all the way down... And put INTs at zero. Penalties also need to be raised...
All lot of this stuff is personal preference and ability level, so you'll probably have to find your own settings.

So this is based off of All Pro football but played on 2k5 for the xbox?

Sort of...
Players were rated 1-5 stars, with 5 equaling a mid to upper 90s overall rating... And 1 being in the 60s...
And players were given abilities true to life... Based on the information I could find...
So it's kind of like All-Pro Football with the license for all the players and NFL teams, etc... And built using 2K5.

That would be cool.
In case you were wondering, the files are now complete... And everything seems to be in working order. I've done a bit of testing and it all seems to be running smoothly now, for both files.

They are posted. I'll get a "real" page for them at some point (gotta get some art first).

Cool. I just updated the description... I forgot to mention that player's overall rating is based on their stature within the history of pro football... So you'll see smaller old time players playing like beasts, which I suppose categorizes this under "arcade".
If I had a camera, I'd get you some art... Walter Payton for sure. :-)[Reply]

Another thing...
The slider settings I put in the franchise file were done so with an attempt to open things up a bit on offense. So all offensive sliders are raised, and defensive ones dropped.
The one exception is the human running, which I have at zero because I have the CPU tackling and pursuit low as well... Tackling low to help with broken tackles, and pursuit low to help with screen plays and quick hitches which I think the CPU closes down on too quickly.
I hadn't really tested the settings too much before I put them in, and it was a bit of a blind guess... I figured people would come up with their own anyways. So far though I've had some good games as is, getting upset by lesser teams and even winning games I shouldn't have as well.
Well... Just wanted to point out that the settings in the roster file were adjusted with at least some consideration, though I realize people will likely change them.

Just lost to the NYG with the Titans in their week one game...
Running against them was tough... Their front seven was ridiculous.
The Bears are the same way. Basically top players at each position.
I'm currently working on a manual of sorts, that shows a team power ranking I came up with... As well as the starting lineups for each team, starter's overall rating on a 1-5 star system, and offensive and defensive strengths.

I have scrapped this plan. Too much work for too little reward.
