Injury depleted NY Giants running backs. .

I have been hampered with injuries all year long. . .

Jacobs (Strained Calf)

Ward (Torn ACL)

Bradshaw (Shoulder)

Droughs (Left the game with headache)

I was forced to use a non RB because I was out.

Anybody else get hampered with injuries like this throughout the course of a season?

I know I'm going to sound like a jerk here, but this should probably be under the regular section of this forum.

BTW- no, never had that happen, although I've often wondered if it ever would.

Yikes, that's gotta hurt. But why didn't you sign a temporary running back? No cap space?

i assume b/c it happened in-game (left game w/ headache).droughns likely returned for the following wk but he was stuck w/ FBs for the remainder of that match

No your not sounding like a jerk, I actually meant to post it in the regular section but it was too late. The issue does affect my roster so I guess it is somewhat relevant.

After the game I scooped up Shaun Alexander.

Oh, I figured it wasn't a one-off exhibition game since he mentioned the course of a season and injuries all year long.

Although I now see what you mean, they all could have happened within one game.

Yeah but for some odd reason it was subbing in my WR's at RB instead of my FB.

Haha, well I guess someone had to pick him up.... though you know what, for some reason it makes sense for Alexander to be a Giant. I can picture him in the uniform and fitting into the system, Tiki Barber-ish. Nice pick up.
