Try lowering your coverage ability on the sliders and perhaps upping their throwing/catching ability. With the players' ratings set relative to each other, this allows you to change things globally without changing the actual ratings. I just did this with my latest roster and it's making quite a difference in QB comp %

When we play our season,I change our coverage for all our defenders to max at out 100. For ex, all other teams have players above 100, but I take the player with the highest coverage rating on our team and minus whatever percent it takes to get him at, or under 100. Therefore keeping the rating scale of each player, but making each defender's coverage go down by what ever percent it took for the top rated player in the coverage area. Hope that makes sense, it allows the cpu to complete more without making it easier to pass your self.

Great Idea

This could be the greatest thing to happen for a football game. For a while I thought I was going to be stuck buying the new madden. Thanks to you, I have now saved $60.
I also figured I would update my cover:

You guys are awesome keep it up!

My sliders are at zero for human coverage and maxed out for cpu passing and catching. Maybe I'm just too good!

Great advice. However, is there any way for me to do that with an existing franchise file? I'm on the 360 and have an Xport and Finn's editor. I've never been able to figure out how to edit a franchise file that is in progress on saved on my 360. Any help with that?

QUESTION FOR ROSTER EDITORS.................

When overwriting players in the roster editor to create new players, are there certain positions you shouldn't use to create other position players?(Ex: Don't use QB's to create DT's or DE, etc.)

Re: JSOU'S 2008-09 Roster Update #1

Sorry for taking so long in getting back. Life here has been very busy and it has been really hard updating my rosters. I am finished with the AFC West and NFC East, but still have a ways to go on the other divisions. I will keep you posted on any updates that are done. Over 800 dl's just insane guess the roster plays and looks pretty good. thanks josh
