I don't think it's ungrateful as much as it is impatient.

Maybe it should be un-stickied and then it can sink off the first page. People can forget about it and not ask questions. Then, when a roster is released, it will be a pleasant surprise.

i have no problem w/ positive or negative comments... or stickying/unstickying. no worries, they have no bearing on the outcome (nor do acid-tongued PMs). sure i don't understand ppl's anger, but it doesn't discourage me in any way

i'm still plugging away; takes a long time for one person


of the 15+ ppl who offered to help, only two have responded (dophin, 500 bloc).

I'm sure you didn't take it negatively, but my suggestion wasn't meant to be. I just think that being right there on top makes people want to post.

Anyone who hasn't made a roster should try it just once and that would clear up a lot of problems.

Exactly. I have created three rosters and am currently doing the 2004 season over since I cant seem to bypass the freezing thats in my current 2004 file but creating a roster and/or franchise file requires a lot of time, patience, verifying and testing. It's definitely not easy. In fact, its always easier to criticize someone than it is to walk in that person's shoes.

For anyone who thinks creating a roster is EASY, im challenging you to create your own from any season and post it in the general rosters section when its done. Until then, just shut the hell up and wait.

I would agree, I recently started creating a 1998 roster and its taking a lot of time with all the details concerning players. If you want the roster as accurate as possible you have to be patient. I just finished editing the Raiders, that's the only team I have finished and it took me about 3wks. Keep up the good work guys.
