Puja, WOW, thanks for making this game (dare I say it) even better than it already was!!! I have one question if you have time to answer...If I were to start a franchise with v2 and maybe play 5 or 6 games, could I just take your draft class coming and import it over the one inside the v2 file? Or, does importing after starting the season cause any glitches/bugs? I'm antsy to get started, but I would love to get my hands on the real prospects, too! Thanks again for the tremendous work you have done to keep this game up to date!!!

***Bad news.
Preseason stat bug suddenly & inexplicably returned during my integrity testing tonight

no idea. needless to say very frustrating.

Description of crappy bug & another annoying thing which just started happening during sim:

When you hit the playoffs, the time it takes to sim increases dramatically (no freezing or anything though just annoying). I only tested this w/ all 32-teams human controlled so it *may not happen w/ one human team. Here's exactly what happens:
Basically, you can sim the reg season as per usual in ~30 seconds to a minute. However, when you hit the playoffs it starts taking literally that long to do each game. This carries over to the following preseason which is reaaally annoying b/c with large # of games per wk in the preseason, it's clocking out at roughly 10-13 mins per preseason week (5 wks total). So, if you aren't playing the preseason, you should pretty much plan on doing something else for ~45mins-1hr while it sims completely.

i have no idea. ugh.
I am going to continue working on the draft class b/c I know I can at least load it into a new franchise started from my current roster... but that is a last resort as I would lose all the work done getting contracts balanced & 600 of them manually entered in-game by hand (not to mention it took me several hundred hours to just create this franchise)

Thanks for all the hard work, Either way you do it I will be happy. Hopefully it will work with what you have now, the contracts is a very nice addition to the realism.

Okay, I'm going to ask a stupid question. Puja I haven't played this game with your rosters before. And I notice that the majority of your posts about your roster files are about simming seasons. When you add new players are they complete? I mean faces and all or are these rosters more for simming and not for playing actual franchise games. Like I said, maybe a stupid question. But thank you for all the work this must take. Brian......

Oh yeah, second question for the guys who have this up and running with the Xport. Did any of you try to use the Xport after the last 360 update? I'm still kida worried that MS will try to disable this device.....And after ordering my Xport and dreaming of current rosters, I'll be more than mildly annoyed if MS has made my new toy unusable.....

Oh it's definitely for playing. The simming is just reported on to see if there were any freezes or other bugs that might occur over the course of a franchise.

I purchased a Xport today at my local CC wanting to try Puja's Rosters. Let me tell ya, I havent enjoyed playing a football game like the one I just played....well since 2005. Awesome rosters and thanks for the contribution to the sports gaming community.

Do I need to have an XPORT, or can I use a 64 MB memory card with the memory card transfer kit?

i tested the clear stats tool on a roster w/ no problems; so the problem may be that i used it in the middle of a franchise on every player (it works fine on one player here or there in franchise). it may also be that i justed edited too many players in the midst of a franchise in updating it to 07 by hand.

so, it looks like i'm going to be loading the draft class into a franchise started from my roster. basically that means the real contracts wont be in V3; instead, back to "game generated based on rating." i may redo some of them but no way am i planning to get 600 players accurate all over again. better to go with the bug free file at the cost of a few bells/whistles.

edit: i just realized i pulled that franchise down last night when the bug was discovered & never re-upped it. i'll put it back up when i get home from work for anyone who wants to mess w/ it.. it is playable, but that sim bug is frustrating
