After five years of not having a NFL game for next gen I gave in and bought Madden 10. Ive played it for a few games and I am totally regretting it, it's still behind a game that was made 5+ years ago.
The gameplay is still lacking, the commentary is horrible and the graphics( even after the change) still looks like cartoons.
I'm going to try and figure out a way to hook my xbox up to my HDTV to get back to the greatness that is 2K5.

Just didn't know what that meant, as in, K5 is getting dated or you also hate Madden.

But this is why they need 1 thread and 1 thread only of Madden v 2K. This is also why I made my 7 commandments of the 2K forum. *Sigh* I hate when I'm right.

I tried with Madden 09 and 10. And both times went back to 2k5.

Yup, just hooked up my xbox and fired up the greatest football game ever.
Looks like the crappy game's going back to the store.

They should have a separate forum for 2K vs Madden so that way when anyone wants to compare something in 2K5 to Madden, that person could just create a topic in that forum like which franchise mode is better or which presentation is better. That way, the 2K and Madden forums contain only stuff related to that series instead of having "VS" topics or whatever here and there all the damn time.

As for Madden NFL 2010, I decided to keep my 360 but will be selling 2010 in a few days so I can put the credit towards SAW since I have more interest in the game than I do the movie that comes out in a few weeks.
