Really NFL 2k5? Really?

This game blows my mind. I bought it from gamestop a few months ago for a buck, yea a buck...$1, just to supplement my shiny new madden 10. Well...after awhile shiny, new, madden 10 went the way of half.com for $50. Now I'm realizing less is more (really). Less spent on NFL 2k5 = more of a great game experience.

Now, I've downloaded GR18's latest rosters and using bill harris's sliders I'm in football heaven. I never appreciated this game back in the day as much as i do now. It's the little things, like being able to ACCURATELY customize players because for some reason 2k5 gives you the ability to equip MOUTH GUARDS AND EYEBLACK...something that got lost in next gen?

Anyway, I'm going to be drinking to the new era once EA FINALLY loses that dang exclusive license. Viva la revolution!

Try Jsou4646 roster also, GR18's have a few players over 100.

I only have 1 player at 100,Fitzgerald, and am very much inline with the original style rosters.I actually think JSOU has the highly rated roster.I think you may have that mixed-up or something.

well i mis-wrote, i have finn's roster...at least that's what the save file is lol...either way good stuff!

When I do my season ending rosters, the maximum number of players that I have rated 100 is three with the minimum being two. Regular season MVP, Offensive and Defensive player's of the year. I dont like seeing hundreds of players being rated in the triple digits. Not good in my opinion.

The original roster had 4 players,all receivers(Harrison,Holt,Moss and Owens)at 100.I can see reasons in why a great receiver should be rated this high.IMO only 1 was worthy of this at the seasons start(Fitzgerald)with Moss,Andre Johnson,Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne between 95-98.I think this game requires receivers to be rated a little generously.

I found qb's can be very good at 94 as the max.The reason being is that sim stats can go through the roof above this Manning,Brady or Brees would constantly be above 120 qb rating if at say 98-99.

I have Asomugha,Willis,Ray Lewis,James Harrison,Ed Reed and Polamalu all above 95 but below 99 if I remember right.While all great players I don't think any one of them is quite perfect at this point.Asomugha may be the closest for his position.

Yes. Please have 2 credit cards ready. Also, have a security question that you, and only you, can answer. They may ask you for a security picture as well, so have a webcam shot or digital copy ready, both full face and side view like you see in the post office.... or CSI ...or the Shield ....or the Wire. But I'm not sure if that helps because I'm not sure if you've seen those shows or if you've been to the Post Office lately. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if they do that at the Post Office any longer. If you think about it, it was a weird practice to begin with. I mean I wanted to go and drop of a letter to somebody who lived far away in my family or cash in my box tops to get the toy in the cereal box that the cereal company was too lazy to put in the box to begin with.... or simply get some stamps for my mom, and the next thing you know I'm asked to track a criminal for the U.S. Government. Weird.
