dan77733's 2K5 (2004) roster sample / test file

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post a sample / test file of my 2K5 (2004) roster file. Two teams are 100% done. They are the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers. Both teams have player ratings based on the 2004 season and the team ratings have also been setup accordingly. Chiefs are rated 98 on offense, 68 on defense and 88 overall. Chargers are rated 92 on offense, 77 on defense and 88 overall. I just finished playing a quick game with KC against SD (in SD) and won 27-21. Tomlinson crushed me for 199 yards on 10 carries but two of them were blitzes that I missed and he was gone. I ran with Holmes 17 times for 130 yards and 2 TD's and Johnson 7 times for 56 yards. I have also posted the three big running plays that I had in the second half.

NOTE: This is just a two team sample roster file from the 2004 NFL season. I will post the final one and a franchise file once im finished with all 32 teams.

Re: dan77733's 2K5 (2004) roster sample / test file

Just a quick update -

I have finished the Bengals, Chargers, Chiefs, Colts, Dolphins, Packers, Patriots, Ravens and Steelers thus far.

I played two quick games last night with the Packers. I played the Chargers in SD and won 21-14 in a close game in which I was able to hold them on 4th down with under a minute left in the game and then took a knee to win.

The second game was an offensive shootout between two of the four best offenses. Using the Packers, I played the Colts in Indy and it was a shootout with me winning 37-31 in OT. Manning threw for over 300 yards and 4 TD's while I passed for over 300 yards, 3 TD's and an INT with Favre. I also rushed for over 100 yards and 2 TD's with Ahman Green including a 72 yard TD run up the middle.

The Colts game was a huge challenge as it was close throughout the game with neither team having more than a 7 point lead at any time. Both teams have a 98 rated offense but defensively, Packers are rated 72 with the Colts rated 75 and you can definitely see that teams play to their strengths.

This should be very interesting and challenging when playing the season since franchise mode games are much more difficult than quick games especially once the weather kicks in.

I hope to be finished within another week or so and when im done, the files will be posted in the rosters section.
