PS2 Compatible Version Uploaded.

To make the PS2 your default console set it in the options. That way, you won't have to keep changing the filter in the open dialog.

NOTE: It only supports the editing of AR Max PS2 game saves. (.MAX)

It will allow you to open .PSV PS3 saves but will not allow you to save them since saving them corrupts the file on the PS3.

Xbox users, nothing new enabled in this release so no need to download.

Re: PS2 Compatible Version Uploaded.

Question - once somebody comes up with a PS2 roster, won't it be possible to convert that directly to the .psv format to avoid a crash, instead of actually saving it as a .psv?

I don't know what that process is, but I know it can be done...I've got MVP 2005 roster files on my PS3 that I downloaded from somewhere...

Thanks Finn, I've always left the light on for 2k5.

Nevermind...I did a little searching and this apparently isn't possible yet - converting a max file to psv.

Someone out there will have a PS2/PS3 memory card adaptor and will be able to do the converstion through the PS3.

Re: PS2 Compatible Version Uploaded.

[What does this mean for taking Xbox rosters and saving them as PS2 rosters? Are any Save as operations now possible, or exporting the Xbox to file, then importing as a PS2 save? I actually just decided yesterday to get into 2K5 with some historic rosters, so this update is perfect timing. Thanks, Finn.]

Ignore the above. I just read an older post detailing the current limitations. It's still better than the in-game editor, and I'm sure file conversions will eventually be possible.
