New York Giants jersey question

I did a search and found nothing...

I can't figure out the differance between the Giants current home jersey and their 2002-2003 home jersey.

I did find that their road 2002-2003 jersey has red socks while their current one has blue socks.

This is in 2K5 not in real life.

I pretty sure the difference is a few years a go our jerseys had the Giants spelled out on above the #s. Now our jerseys have just NY above the #s.

That wasn't it. Maybe it could be the shade of blue they used?

I don't think there actually IS a difference between the home uniforms in 2002 vs the "current" 2004 home uniform.

There was the sock thing on the road uniform. They just included the complete uniform set for every year.

They did the same thing with the Panthers, including a home & away 1996 uniform, when the only difference between that and the current was the sock color on the home uniforms.

The current real life road has red socks. In NFL 2k5 they have a jersey that sort of matches it. It is from the 1950's but it has no NY on the helmet and the pants are white when they should have been grey.

As for the years you mentioned the jersey difference usually is something so small that i am not sure why some were put in and some were not. Some like the 50's remake does not look accurate since the pants should have been grey.

I also had a question about the Saints and their jerseys.

If you pic the Saints black jersey with black pants with gold stripes (I can remember the year of the set) and play a game, they will be wearing gold pants instead. Why does it do that?
