Are we ever going to see some gameplay??

This waiting is killing me!! All these new features sound great.......I just want to see some of them in play already. Can't believe this game is just 2 short months away from release and only one gameplay video has seen the light of day.

If I was EA, I would hold on any complete gameplay video until the demo is out. If you want to shy away people at a game, just show complete gameplay footage.

That's the better way to dissect a play, to watch, replay over and over, so that you can find the problems within the game. That's the only way you can say : "That's not normal the players on the ice do this while normally they do this."

Only giving some footage, cutted gameplay video makes people who want to dissect it having less arguments since the "you're making assumption and take things out of their context". I was told the exact same thing with the Letang video last summer. In the end, the position play of the D was almost like I said, problematic.

I maybe wrong on the intent, but like I said, EA's just beeing careful with what they release in the summer and only seeing short clips is a great idea on their part.

As said above, no. You won't see complete gameplay.

1. It shows off an incomplete product in the context of a complete product. If you were building a car would you show it off to your friends before you finish painting it?

2. It is boring to the general public, they want to see flash and entertainment, that's what sells games.

You probably won't be seeing any gameplay footage until every detail is released on the game. Hell half of the information hasn't even been released yet.

I don't think we usually get gameplay videos until August. Kinda sucks, but whatever. Just give me a demo and I'm good. I hate having to pick apart videos anyways, like if someone plays a certain way or if they're playing on different settings, etc.

It's usually late July we see gameplay vids start to pop up (ie IGN, gametrailers etc).
