Just remeber those wanting new commentators, it's poinless unless you change the script up as well. Also, just because someone is great on TV, doesn't mean they'll be great commentating on a video game. Emrick would work though, because he did commentary for the Faceoff series if I'm not mistaken, and it was great.

Rammer & Co lets the commentators do their own thing when doing the recordings for the game. There is virtually no chance the 'script' would be the same if they got new guys to do it. Basically, they call it like it would be a real game, then the EA guys place it how they feel it would fit best.

Re: The Sad Truth About The NHL Series

Sorry, but asking for Thorne and Clement to be replaced is waste of dev time and money that could be used for other things. The PBP is the least of this series' problem. The #1 issue is the offline AI needs to be gutted and switched up with something that doesn't rely on cheesy god-mode momentum coding.

That's why all the teams feel the same; when the CPU switches into god mode, every player on every team plays like he's rated 99 in every rating catagory. It's the same ridiculous AI programming that's in FIFA and ruins that game as well at times. It makes no difference then if you edit player ratings, because a 45-rated guy will suddenly start doing spin-o-rama moves and firing seeing-eye lasers the moment the god mode programming kicks in. It's game coding designed for button-mashing 11 year-olds.

for me if they change Thorne and Clement will be a big bonus. their voices is becoming repetitive and at times annoying because most of their commentaries are far away from what is happening in the game.

i dont know if EA will wake up after winning the Worst Company award. im still hoping they will change my perspective towards their effort in NHL series.
