All Star Vs pro

was wondering which gameplay u think is better all star or pro setting, i feel like on all star the CPU gets a lot of cheap goals

Pro was too easy... for me anyway. I will say at first it seemed to play better. but after a week the cpu could not generate any offense at all.

So I tied all star and it was very hard at first. So I just the sliders too my advantage.

only way to get pro to play some what solid is to give the CPU a speed advantage as well as a shot accuracy advantage as well.

it might work out well for you depending on your play style.

it seems everything plays at a slower pace on pro, players play more along the lines towards their ratings than getting some boosts on the higher levels.

check mkharsh's sliders in the slider forum.

Re: All Star Vs pro

Both are way too easy, on Pro without sliders the D-men are basically pylons. Also, games usually end with the other team getting less than 10 shots on goal. Imo, Superstar is the way to go.

see i'm playing on all star now, and only way the PC seems to score if by passing behind the net they score almost every time, now i don't know if it has to do with my having AI learning, CPU diff, and CPU adjustment all at zero and i should up them, and goalie setting wise i have the screen effect at 5 and don't know if i should up to lower it, i just went 7-6 with me being the pens against the red wings

When you play a ton of Pro games, I'd make the switch, I've been playing Pro for a while between NHL games, moved to All-Star, it's not too difficult, but I'm used to it.

Re: All Star Vs pro

Pro is too easy, Superstar is too cheap, so All Star is the happy medium of the two.If you still find All Star too easy, move the Cpu Difficulty slider up until you get the proper challenge.
