Re: NHL 13 Wishlist

Hopefully they fix the faceoff glitch next year. No reason why it's still in the game whenever so many people over at EA have complained about it.

Of course, the more we complain about something, the less likely it's going to be dealt with.

Re: NHL 13 Wishlist

1. Be a GM
- get selected to go to all star team, iihf worlds... for both BaGM and BaP
- hire coaches and have budgets
- training camps, and notifications of ahl kids that should come up
- be able to see stats of all signed prospects
- Sign players from overseas when free agents
- morale meter to show when players are happy
- scouting sheet for each game for both your team and opposition (hot/cold, if they put in a fighter)
- Have all unsigned international prospects in the system!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Be a Pro
- request trade in BaP
- have off season training
- after game "interviews", locker room talks, etc.
- celebrations when breaking records

3. Trading/free agents
- prospect trade value higher, and the potential rank stays longer
-on trade deadline, show teams as buyer/seller, and exactly what they want (shut down D, gritty forward, top 3 playmaker....)
- have free agents have wants (contender, money, close to home)

4. Scouting
- have letter grades for specific attributes (shot, vision, bodychecking,) instead of numbers, but keep the accuracy/inaccuracy
- create draft list of scouted prospects and ceiling potentials

Re: NHL 13 Wishlist

Ultimate customization (IN player sense alone) seems like it has never been addressed.
When going into edit pro, there should be loads of different option's.
Physical:thickness, chest size, calf thickness, thigh thickness etc.. When looking at Stamkos from a physical perspective, you can see that his 6''1' 188 body is lengthy and not bulky, yet when seeing him in the game he looks about 15 pounds heavier especially in his legs.
Face:Although EA is famous for pre-setup not changeable face types, being able to change the face of your guy; sony's road to the show??
Gear size/alteration: you can see vast difference's in similar players in real life, about baggy-ness of their breezer's, the tuck of there jersey(and show the back of there specific breezers too, not the stupid jersey anti-fighting strap). Kessel wears slightly long baggy breezers. Stamkos, Skinner and so many others tape there stick all the way from heel to toe completely covered, Ovechkin tapes his just toe to mid blade. THIS STUFF IS SO BASIC but, adds so much individuality. Also Brad Richards has some pretty big glove's, some other guy's like small tight, like say Tyler Seguin.
Skating Style: Does Ovechkin skate like Crosby? Does Stamkos skate like Kovalchuk? no, so why does everyone all skate the same! Add in the ability for a violent skater(Ovechkin) or lengthy stride(Stammer or Gaborik during his Wild days) or even Duchene like a machine the way his legs never stop (you gotta witness to understand)
Shooting/hand style: Although this would be very very unlikely, Being able to have your guy very stand up style or hunched over would be nice.

I'll just make an acknowledgement to Presentation broadcast play by play guys because, this has been THEEE biggest annoyance to me as the last few games have come. Doc emerick is and will be for the next for years, the best play by play in the game. Why the F&^% do we have the guys we do on here? there so frickin lame! even Benninatti is better.

Puck physics: since when in hockey has the puck been so lifeless? So easy to keep for so long? The puck is constantly shifting, moving, floating, wobbling in real games.. It seems that EA is catering to this stupid Dangle end to end control the puck on your stick everywhere you go crowd(Which for sales is understandable) But, hockey is not in any way like that. Dump and chase, chip in, etc etc. People don't realize that with all this puck control you lose all the important things like positioning awareness sense etc etc. If you could walk in everytime and dangle 24/7 the nhl wouldn't have any care about getting playmakers, shutdown d-man, mobile passing d-men, guys that can sit in front of the net and chip home a rebound. There's just no grinding or work at all being done in these game's and that makes any goal or good play seem unimportant or generic. No one in hockey would celebrate as much as they do when they score if it was so easy, so don't make it so in the game.

I think your player customization is definitely what this game needs to feel more unique. Everyone is the same based on height...and if they are lucky a special player face that may or may not actually look like them.
It would be nice to be able to customize your own player, but also to customize the players already in game. I've said it before, i understand it's tough for the NHL13 team to get every player right, for every team and AHL team, but there's no reason they shouldn't give us the means to do it ourselves, and a way to share it. Then they can worry about the game, and we can fix what's wrong.

Re: NHL 13 Wishlist

The one thing I think Be A GM mode needs is an off-limits list. I am tired of getting ridiculous offers for my superstars like Patrick or Evander Kane, when I have zero interest trading them

First off with regards to this post I ask you this......Do you think anyone though Gretzky was going anyplace?? I doubt it very much which is why it never hurts to inquire

My wish:

Please good god all mighty revamp the presentation. Its been the same now for like 10 years, same boring announce team, same tired old saying and witty conversations.... The fans could not feel less into the game than the do in NHL12. I can win the Stanley cup at home, in 5 OTs and the fans will cheer like i just won the 3rd game of my season by 12 goals...... This is a serious killer for me every year.

Re: NHL 13 Wishlist

I would love to see line change options using the head set. Even strategies, etc.

I pitched this years ago in a 2k hockey wishlist forum ( I am a huge 2k hockey guy but am extremely excited about ea hockey this year with its Online Gm options).

Using the headset for line changes would be great.

Re: NHL 13 Wishlist

Any news on signature traits, can you see and edit them this year? Also can you put traits to your created players?
