I am sorta new to online bap. Does offline bap do anything to improve your online pro? Or are they totally separate? As in points/attributes gained offline can only be used offline and vice-versa? Thanks for the help!

They are totally different, two separate things.

Offline : By getting XP points, you'll be able to put them in attributes to improve your player. Cards in that matter (6 of them) aren't worth anything (wasn't last year neither it's this year to my knowledge).

Online : By playings amounts of game (1, 10, 60, 100, 150), you'll be able to spend extra points that comes with unlocking a card. You have to get a minimal grade (No grades, C-, C, B-, B and A-) in order to get the Amateur, Rookie, Pro, Veteran, Superstar and Legend cards.
