dwightmccarthy80 05:33 PM 11-02-2009
NHL 10 Fans, gaming site Spawn Kill has extensively covered EA's NHL 10 and now they are getting the opportunity to talk to the Gameplay Producer about the game. they have their own questions to ask them but we want to know if you have any questions you want to get answered. Post the questions here and then check the gaming site Spawn Kill later this week to see if your question was chosen. [Reply]

Regarding Patches...Is there gonna be a patch fixing Be A GM issues such as Star Players sitting in Free Agency. Is it possible to make the CPU Offensive AI more aggressive? Too much time spent skating around in the Neutral Zone. Finally can the Sim engine be altered in any way? The results hardly reflect that of the NHL today. [Reply]

Definitely ask about the SIM engine.
Will they release a guide explaning the sliders better like they did last year?
In regards to the sliders, are the "default" settings the "realistic" settings on each level? [Reply]

My most pressing question is: "Are they working on addressing the franchise freezing in Be A GM mode?" [Reply]

Is there an adjustment via patch/tuner that can improve the CPU offensive AI? The mindless passing and backwards passing limits their offensive output and shots on goal --- and as an end result the CPU frequently scores on "cheapies" to keep the score competitive despite their low SOG totals. Why can't a full upgraded Amateur scout see the Potential from Prospects ? [Reply]

I'll settle for the AI having the basic ability to enter the offensive zone. The AI players (whether it's BAP, EASHL, or regular team play) are just awful at this critical aspect of hockey.

It's quite baffling how the AI in this area is so lacking. This franchise is what, 16 or 17 years old? Surely the basic AI can be better than this. Obviously NHL 93 didn't have great AI, but at least the CPU could get the puck across the blueline. [Reply]

Can you please give ua a real TV broadcast camera angle to play from? Something like the view they have in 2k's game. The side view used in NHL10 isn't very good at all. Thanks! [Reply]

This is my primary issue with the game as well! [Reply]
