Hey ya know the east standings aren't too bad, but the west? The pool of teams in the top 8 could happen but Detroit 8th LA 5th and Columbus 4th? Yeah, right... I refuse to believe that's what they came up with on their first attempt. They probably did it several times before they got a simulation they didn't feel embarrassed releasing.

Can you imagine a press release that read: "EA Sports NHL10 simmed the 2009-10 season and the Columbus Blue Jackets are your Stanley Cup champions, defeating the New York Islanders in a tough six-game series. Columbus ousted the juggernaut Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference finals, while the Islanders advanced to the finals by edging the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference finals.''

Yeah, that would be good for new sales.

I'm liking the Hurricanes winning the President's Trophy. Hopefully that isn't too far fetched for this year. I like how we stack up for 2009-10.
