In practice the AI gets stuck to the boards a lot when it's just CPU vs CPU. At least I know how to skate away from the crease now.

In a future tuning set they really need to do something about CPU shots. I hate them getting 15-20 a game. I play 8 minute periods and I really don't want to go higher than that. Last year I played 7 and it was perfectly fine. The CPU tries to be way to perfect on entering the zone/shooting. I'm going to try SuperStar and see if that works, and if not will try normal/default or whatever to see if that helps.

That rule, I think, addresses a somewhat different scenario. For instance, you're hauled down on a breakaway during the closing seconds of the third and your team maintains possession of the puck. This rule indicates that you get to take the penalty shot notwithstanding the fact that regulation time has expired.

Other than that, there is nothing special about penalty shot timing. Play stops when the penalized team regains possession.

As I said, I wasn't and there was no record of the phantom call. No delayed call earlier. It seems I got penalized once for each leg I pulled down.

Be a GM, auto-save, left after playing an AHL game for my team. Came back, loaded my Be A GM and I don't have access to my NHL team. When I go to stats or player training and look at my NHL roster it's the AHL one and the AHL one is empty. I'll try and get it back, but right now I can't switch from AHL to NHL.

Just checked doesn't seem to be solution to it, that I can think of right now. Will have to start a new one and will turn Autosave off.

Monster bug happened to me in ranked online versus mode:

I am Buffalo at home against San Jose. We go to a shootout. I defend my goal first, make a save. I go next, score a goal.

Here's the bug: San Jose comes up next, and the view is switched, so my goalie is at THE FAR END OF THE RINK. I can't see a damn thing, goal. I come up again, manage to score. San Jose to tie, SAME THING. I can't see anything because my goalie somehow switched ends, ez goal for them. Luckily, I managed to score and win.

That really sucked.
