New Screenshots and GM Mode Video

Just click on the first blog post, and you will find both. The link to the screenshot gallery is about halfway down the page (30 new screens I think), and the GM Mode video is at the bottom of the post. I'm a sucker for new screenshots, so thought I'd share. The one of Martin Brodeur getting his water bottle knocked off is my favorite (near the end)..sorry Devils Fans

I couldn't help but notice that San Jose sent Jeremy Roenick to Carolina for Brandon Sutter. Carolina would never send a former 1st round pick for a guy with 1 year left and attitude problems. I hope that was just to show the process and in the real mode this wont ever happen

I'd kinda forgotten just how deep "Be a GM" mode is going to be.

I'm kind of torn between "Be a GM" and "Be a Pro". Not sure if I really have the time to get fully into both. But I think the GM mode will prove to be just too much fun and interesting to play. So I'll at least start off with that. Can't wait!

That trade was offered, but the pop-up box said "Congratulations! You have successfully offered a trade..." or something like that. Clement even says that it was only a practice offer. No need to panic... yet.

Damn QB you beat me to it. Its not an actual trade at all more like a tutorial and just a trade proposal to begin with.

correct me if im wrong but wasn't the user SJ? so they proposed a trade offer to Carolina for Sutter. So in this tutorial you can offer the likes of Jeff Finger for Sidney Crosby and get the same message? it is just telling how the whole ordeal goes down

Pretty much, its just showing the user how to propose a trade within Be A GM mode. It then goes on to show the user how to use GM points to do staff upgrades.

That screeny of Oshie is SOOO bad. I know I've mentioned it before, but I'll definitely be making my own Oshie as I'm sure I could do better with even limited create-a-player options...sending the real one to Europe during the main menu.

If Sutter can still only play 12 seconds and be completely spent for the rest of the game then we might want to look at the old man.

So Thomas has been in the NHL for like 7 years now and just won the Vezina and he STILL doesn't have a real face? This is so frustrating. Even though you don't see his face unless he's a star of the game or during random cutscenes.

Very happy to see they got Krejci and Kessel's faces in the game (although his hair is red... and even though he won't be a Bruin). But no Wideman it looks like. Damn.
