NHL 10 Ultimate Roster Update for PS3

i did all that, but when i put the new rosters in last night, i couldn't find anything that changed, so it lead me to believe that i did something wrong. maybe i did and just didn't check the right team or places.....but now i'm at work and i arleady erased the blus folder, so now i gotta try at home again tonight, with my stone age pc. i think i broke the mouse last night. stupid freezing piece of junk.

what can i find to know that i got the new rosters? what is a big player transaction that i should be able to see. i can't keep up with all the trades and stuff. pretty sad i know. but i'm lucky to even get to play a few hours a week....

Did you manually load the 'Ultimate' roster file when you put NHL 10 back in? You might have to do that the first time.. It's also possible you missed a step when replacing the SYS DATA file or something - are you sure you created a new roster file on your PS3 called 'Ultimate'? I know it seems like kind of a complicated process if you're not a computer expert kinda guy but it's pretty easy, you'll figure it out.

As for what to look for I'd say the easiest thing to do is just go to the Islanders roster and see if Tavares is your first line centre/there at all since he's a CAP that matt did.

yeah, i'm pretty sure i did. i had his print-out with instructions right in front of me. i think i may have gotten them last night, but i just wasn't sure who to look for after i loaded his roster on my ps3 then into the game itself. everything looked the same, so my other thought was to check the size of the file i got from matt and the file i saved from my ps3. the both where the same, so i just gave up. my pc had froze three times on me at home. and i just wanted to play a game of NHL at that point......

Well check for Tavares first and then if not I guess just try the whole process over again, good luck they're awesome rosters!

What happened? did you make him first and forget he was in the Elitserien? Also, IIRC, Hedman was also already in the game with a photo, on either an SM Liiga or Elitserien team too. Either way, great work Matt, too bad I already did all the goalie equipment edits on your 1.1, but can't wait for the minor update today.

Can you edit the Blue Jackets lines (NHL 10 Ultimate Player Rating requests/changes) before you upload V1.02.

Even though it takes 5 min to do them myself, they are VERY accurate lines in case anybody else plays CBJ...

Edit: I think you made CBJ D John Moore too good. I think you have him at 76 and Hedman is 75?!?!? Hedman is NHL READY right now, whereas Moore is not close yet (2-3yrs off but GREAT potential...)

alright, I got it guys...thanks, I guess I just misread the step where you copy onto your usb from the PS3. I will be waiting for this update later today because the leafs are my team and I want the monster.
