I am. But i don't like to play with strong teams, even playing full manual only, these teams are overpowered.

I always play more than one carrer at time, with different goals. These are my plans for 13:

1- VP starting with Vasco da Gama, my hometown team.

2- Manager mode with Southampton, as i'm playing with this team now, i want to continue this "saga".

3- Manager mode with a 1 star team from the english 4th division. If Shrewsbury Town is available, i'll pick them.

4- Manager mode with a team from the Saudi league. I'm curious about this league, as i don't know much about it, but i know that a lot of brazilian players play in this league, just to cash in.

5- Probably a manager mode with Montpellier (FRA) or Werder Bremen (GER).

I agree with that. It's just more fun playing a team that isn't at it's peak. At least in manager mode.

Am actually debating starting a game with Jeju United, the local team. Though I will probably play with the Spurs.

As per usual, Chelsea FC Manager.

I also run a second Manager Mode starting with my Central Coast Mariners in the A-League here in Australia. I like to see where I end up after starting near enough the bottom of the barrel.

It is without a doubt much more satisfying when you have to build a club without being able to grab whomever you want.

For those that ran with a low-level team and built up last year (I never got around to it), how did the youth academy players work out for you guys? Did you see progression and end up using those players as starters?

Myself, no. I had a few highly rated youngsters and a few of them made serviceable squad players. But never starters.

I didn't see much in the way of progression. Due to the fact that progression seemed to be broken I would sell them pretty much ASAP to fund a 5* scout who could bring me in some guys I could sell for $5-15 million per. That money would then buy players that would actually play.

I would love it for progression to work in 13 because there is nothing better than seeing "your guy" grow into that superstar.
