There is a clear difference, this year the custom tactics settings seem to be more on point, although I think that some could stand to be edited to fit the current style of the club. In regards to the players, its mostly about the ratings and their physical attributes. So for example, you will feel a big difference controlling a big guy like Ibra and then controlling a smaller and skinnier player like Xavi.

National teams are the same I think, the only addition is the return of the Dutch team if I'm not mistaking, which is a disappointment.

Edit: Sorry for all the double posts, but since I post at different hours and the forum is kind of slow, it tends to happen often. And also before I forger, thank you for the quick sticky Qb.

Do the US have their all white home uni, or White on Navy??
Did they get any new US player faces?? Dempsey, Bradley, or maybe Davies?

How do the graphics look compared to the demo?? I wasn't too impressed with how Wembley looked. But then again that it one of the uglier stadiums in 09. Thanks

Yeah, and anyone know if Jozy still has the "lean" body type?

Also, notice any other plays have the wrong body type?

This is one aspect of FIFA that has always bothered me.

Maybe there is an agreement in place, but if there is they need to just say so. I'm tired of the World Cup games being the only ones with a plethora of national teams. I'd like to play Chile, Colombia, Peru (all S. American countries) as well as Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Jamaica, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, etc.

Oh, and I haven't played 10 yet, but add assists as a counted stat for crying out loud!

Re: FIFA Soccer 10 Full Game Impressions

i just wanted to pass on my MM commentary. this is particular to two issues: form and resigning players.

re-signing... i believe that there may be some bug here because its near impossible to re sign a player during the season. you just cant pay him enough. also - with transfers, i have been unable to sign a certain player (BARCA Player up for sale) and i keeping failing, but they do not tell me why!

i personally think the FORM thing is great. now, its not going to be for everyone. but, it makes it much more dynamic playing MM. now there are reasons beyond injuries to not play a player. i personally think that if they hid the actually affect on the nubmer ratings, people would not be so pissed. its really is great and brings out a nice element of club football.

but overall, this plays a great game of football... is it the best? sheesh, hard to say, but its defo in the debate. the computer AI is very improved and is not a singular attacking program for all teams (we are talking no changes on MM).

star player power... do the stars do the step over back heel and other tricks? unfortuantely no (or not like we want!)... but you can tell when you are playing them... and you will be scared. playing against messi is nerve racking. but you also notice the differnce between the lower level "stars" - andy johnson really shine for fulham, etc. one thing i have not seen is the players do the skilled dribbling (which i think is awesome and very effective)

all in, such a great game. so many sports games do not get the feel right... this one does.

also, i am no wepeeler, but for me a goal fest this ain't! but, its early days... LOVE the crossing!

Re: FIFA Soccer 10 Full Game Impressions

What club are you playing with in MM southernbelle? It seems that if your club is smaller, it's really hard to lure players from bigger clubs - even if they are put up for sale and you offer more than anyone else. And also, if you have too many good players at one position, it doesn't matter what you offer them, they will rarely sign for you if they think they have no chance of being in the starting 11. I tried signing Dzeko from Wolfsburg as a backup striker and ocassional starter on Barca, and he rejected me for that very same reason. Haven't tested the resigning yet, so it might be problematic if it is like that.
