Re: Therizings Community Day Impression (so far)

Thanks for all the impressions!

3 gameplay things i'm keen to know:

1) Do centre backs come up inside the box for corners and wide free kicks, for both the user and CPU teams? Is there now an option to select which players to bring a la PES 08?

2) Can we expect to see quick free kicks/corner/throw-ins etc in the final game?

3) You've mentioned the tactics available for teams...what about individual tactics like wingers switching flanks, and hopefully centre-back overlap is still there?

I don't think we'll have quick free kicks or "quick-kicks" calcutta.

See if you can bring up the online league thing. Only being able to play a team an odd number of times is not realistic. OSers would like to play home and away games as in real life. Also, the radar thing is a bit annoying as well. Perhaps we can change the colors like in PES to fix this?

Good stuff so far bro.

Re: Therizings Community Day Impression (so far)

1.Tell us about the keepers.(crosses,1 vs 1, Y button use is correct with them)

2.Are the players recognizable by their way or running,shooting....
are they planning to implement this in future release like NBA 2k8 taht every player is unique......

3.Are there any feedback when a player has already a yellow card preventing us of making fouls with him.....if i´m not wrong now we just know who has a yellow card when he has the ball. This is useless.we need to know it when we´re in defence

Thanx

Re: Therizings Community Day Impression (so far)

In a preview, a producer vaguely alluded to a reserve team within the game for teams in the top league of their nation (i.e. Barclays, Serie A, La Liga, etc.). Can you verify this "team" is actually a reserve user playable league for young prospects to gain experience.

Unfortunately, from your recent comments about the lack of new features in manager mode, my best guess is that this has something to do with Be a Pro Mode and nothing to do with Manager Mode. Can you ask for any more details?

And any other new "news" (if there actually is any) regarding manager mode, will be greatly appreciated by many of us here.

Thanks bro for your impressions, much appreciated. Each CPU team playing to their own style is huge. Good stuff there.

Will some of the devs be coming to OS in the future?

I spoke with gameplay producer Aaron McCarty about the lack of free kicks/set pieces in the game because of the lack of fouls. He assured me that you will see more fouls called in the final version. I saw a minimal number of fouls in the games I played today. I will bring it up again tomorrow to try to get more info.

That's it. I'm done.....for today.
I know its an early build, but I don't like this one bit. I will reserve judgment though, for later, but if they don't call more fouls in the game, it just brings all the other improvements down a notch ( for me that is). Everything else sounds fantastic.

If therizing is impressed, then I'm impressed.

I didn't even know about the different gameplay speeds you could play on. That's kick-***. And I don't mind the leaving alone of MM mode because it is like crack cocaine to me. But I can understand having it improved. I would like it improved as well, but I love it so much as is and with greater gameplay...I'll love it even more.

One question I do have...any more Ronaldinho dribbling and holding onto the ball for hours by low rated bastards that in real life couldn't dribble to save their lives?

Has the defensive AI of your CPU teammates been addressed? Last year an opponent could walk right in on goal with you and your CPU controlled defenders basically just stood by. It was up to the user to keep rapidly changing players in order to make a play. I'd like to see the AI be more of a help.
