*bump*

Did you notice this during your time playing the game?

Thanks!

Based on all the changes to the reaction and positioning systems, I was told that this was fixed.

As I mentioned, the build we were playing was six weeks old. There was one situation where my centerback was in position to make a play on a striker outside the box and did nothing.

I paused the game and asked Aaron to take a look. I pointed out that "this is one of the major gripes within our community." He nodded in agreement and went on to explain the differences in positioning and reactions this year compared to last.....for about 20 minutes. I have faith that this has been addressed.

One area of improvement that I noticed was that your teammates are more proactive in moving towards the ball. By the time you take control of them, they are in a better position to make a play. They did react a little bit better in the copy I got to try but throughout the game Aaron asked me to pause the game to show me some of the differences between what the defenders were doing in my version compared to what they were doing in the most recent build. It sounds pretty good.

Like I said earlier, I'm pretty confident that this has been handled.

Therizing I was wondering if you could shed some light on the question that I posed a couple of pages back. Thanks.

This all sounds very encouraging. Thanks so much for answering my question!

H24,

I didn't have a lot of time with Manager Mode but I did start one to see if the options were different. The only thing I noticed was that the interface was improved. A lot of info is on the MM homepage in a widget type of interface. Many of the facts you need to see about your individual MM is available on the screen without going into the menu.

Other than that I honestly didn't get too far into it. So, if there are changes beyond that I'm not sure.

I really appreciate the answer sorry for bugging you. Sounds like you had a blast playing the Alpha version and that can only be good for what the final release will be. Again thanks.

Good stuff rizing.

Did you by chance get to ask about the online leagues home and away format? I know here on OS we have to setup spreadsheets, etc., because we can't just play a 2 game (home/away) format in our online leagues.

What is the pace of the ball like? One of my gripes about FIFA in the past has been the slow pace of the ball, particularly in the air. It feels like a balloon at times. Does the ball have more weight and move at a faster pace?

Honestly Ex, they really didn't speak to much about the online part of the game. David Rutter did talk a little about the new disconnect rules but, nothing too deep. I think they are saving a few announcements for Leipzig next month.
