A UFC license doesn't matter for EA's game. In NCAA games, you don't have real player names/looks, and they're still fun.

Also, none of my friends, relatives, or close acquaintances watch UFC. We'd be willing to play a fun fighting game, though. I couldn't care if I was playing as Generic White Guy #8 or that guy on the cover of Undisputed. If the game is good, it'll succeed. Names or not.

Yeah, for this genre, I agree. I wanna beat my brother whether or not I can be Silva, or Couture...anyone remember how Joe Rogan spent 30 minutes hyping Mirko Krokop?? lol where is that guy anyway

How come no one is hating on thq for monopolizing UFC brand so EA cant use the fighters? Riddle me that one.

Its all gravy though. Most folks are fairweather fans of whatever you wanna name. THQ mess around and gets as big as EA, folks will find a way to switch and start throwing rocks at THQs throne, believe that.

One more thing, just because I feel like going against the grain right now. (I know this wont happen, because we're not interacting with each other physically), but...I'd put a grand on EAs MMA game being better, EVEN with the fact that they'll be two years behind, how you love that?

Oh, and for the record, I absolutely love UFC 2009. I'm a fan of good games, **** a name. Game company could be named BoBo BinLaden Sports, and I'd buy their titles if they were good, no matter if they were the underdog company, or the top dog company.
Very good points, and I agree with them all, BUT, I'm still going to knock you out in FN4. Put a grand on that!
