If you wouldn't mind I would greatly appreciate it.

I've been following your's from the beginning and it seems your having much better results than I have so good luck moving forward.

*On a side note everybody I played the Mississippi State game and lost 38-10 to drop me to 4-5 and 1-4 in SEC play. I am officially having no fun with this game due to game play issues, not losing, I welcome that as long as it's by a realistic margin for talent against talent and ratings against ratings. However I can't stand getting cheated time and time again by either robo QB, lack of defensive pressure, A.I.'s pick 6's, the A.I.'s superhuman DB's, along with the countless other game play issues. I just can't take it anymore I thought for sure I wasn't going to let this effect this dynasty and that I could look at it for what it really is, a video game and it's not going to be perfect but I just couldn't not when I'm having ZERO fun playing. The point in playing is to have an enjoyable experience not be so upset you can't see straight, why in the world would I subject myself to that it just doesn't make sense. So after I find it in me to do the Mississippi State write-up this dynasty will be temporarily suspended until I can find some decent sliders that make it fun as well as realistic / or the second patch comes out. I appreciate all my followers and hopefully you understand and will be following again when it starts back up.

Thanks

Re: Building Ashley a Winner: GJEM’s Kentucky Wildcats Dynasty

sliders i use are all american with:
human offense:
30 pass accuracy
20 pass block
20 run ability
30 run block

cpu offense: (although they do nothing i think till patch 2)
100 for everything

human defense:
0 for everything

cpu defense: (although they do nothing i think)
100 for everything except int's which i put to 0

also, to make it more challenging and realistic, i dont switch players on defense once the play starts. ill only switch if the playing im using is totally out of the play

I'm sure you've read on the front page how I play so no need to say it again but if not it's on the first page. I might think about dropping down to AA from Heisman since in all other versions I played on AA. I'm still trying to figure things out right now on what direction I want to go. All I know is the direction I was going isn't working out and it has killed any enthusiasm I have about even picking up the sticks.

GATOR BAIT
The Florida Gators feasted on 'cats all afternoon in 62-14 blowout of Kentucky.

Gainesville, FL (AP) Florida put on quite a show for the fans at the Swamp Saturday afternoon as they took care of the Kentucky Wildcats 62-14 – a margin many didn’t see coming.

The Gators' 62-14 victory against Kentucky was their most lopsided victory of the season – their previous largest margin of victory came in week 6, 45 points against Arkansas.

The first-quarter was competitive as both teams shared scoring drives which ended the quarter in a 7-7 tie. However in that first-quarter the Wildcats did suffer a tremendous injury to their starting quarterback Mike Hartline after a vicious shot by linebacker Dustin Doe that will sideline Hartline for the rest of the season with a torn bicep – an injury that couldn’t of came at worse time for a team that still has hopes of a post-season birth.

The second-quarter could’ve been a more different quarter as the Kentucky defense gave up 17 points – a scoring on slot that didn’t end until the final gun.

Riley Copper got things started in the second-quarter for Florida just 40 seconds after the quarter began when he caught a Tim Tebow 5-yard pass that put the Gators up 14-7. After a botched option pitch by new quarterback Will Fidler and half-back Derrick Locke, Tim Tebow and Riley Cooper were at it again this time for an 11-yard touchdown pass that put the Gators up 21-7. Kicker Caleb Curtis finished up the quarter with a 24-yard field goal that made the score at 24-7 at halftime.

The third-quarter went from bad to worse for the Wildcats as the Florida defense forced four turnovers, all of which were fumbles – the Gators forced 6 turnovers on the day. This helped lead the Gators to 31 third-quarter points. Wide receiver Emmanuel Moody, cornerback Markihe Anderson, safety Dorian Munroe and wide receiver Riley Cooper all scored touchdowns in the third-quarter for the Gators.

Looking up at a 55-7 deficit entering the fourth-quarter the Wildcats had very little motivation to do really much of anything on either side of the ball. Even with the low moral the Wildcat offense did hang in there and put a meaningless 7 spot on the board when quarterback Will Fidler scored on a 2-yard touchdown run that made the score 55-14.

To everyone’s shock but Coach Mitchell’s Tim Tebow came trotting out after Kentucky’s touchdown to take the ball for the Gators with under 3 minutes to play – a Tebow lead drive that ended with another Florida touchdown. A call confessed Coach Mitchell he tried to make Florida pay for, “I wanted my guys to hurt him (Tebow). That’s just something that you don’t do, their (Florida) sitting on a 41-point lead with under 3 minutes to play and you send out your star quarterback to take the snaps? A star quarterback who later ran in a 19-yard touchdown with under a minute to play! I don’t believe that’s how you show sportsmanship or class, but I’ll tell you one thing I won’t soon forget it.” Comments that will sure lead to some questions and concerns for Coach Mitchell from across the nation as well as spark some heated match-ups between these two teams.

Defensive end Carlos Dunlap had a huge day with 8 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles a performance that earned him both SEC and NCAA defensive player of the week honors.

Kentucky will try and escape this nightmare of a game and travel to Starkville, Mississippi where they’ll take on a little easier opponent in the Mississippi State Bulldogs who are 4-4 overall and 1-3 in the SEC.

What to watch for against Mississippi State: How will new starting quarterback Will Fidler play in his first game as Kentucky’s starter against the Bulldogs 70th ranked defense and 94th ranked pass defense?

Team Pulse: Upset and angry and ready to take it out on the Bulldogs.

Re: Building Ashley a Winner: GJEM’s Kentucky Wildcats Dynasty

WHO KNEW?

Starkville, MS (AP) In a basically must win game for Kentucky to have a shot a the post season Mississippi State’s defense comes up strong allowing only 207 yards of total offense and 10 points.

Coach Mitchell’s biggest concern entering Saturday was if back-up quarterback Will Fidler could do enough to get Kentucky their 5th win of the season. The answer was answered rather quickly when on just Fidler’s 2nd pass attempt he was picked off by cornerback Tay Bowser which Bowser returned 77 yards to the house to give the Bulldogs an early 7-0 lead. Bowser became a thorn in Coach Mitchell’s side as Bowser had 5 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions as well as the undocumented stat of absolute blanket coverage all afternoon.

Fidler was pulled after half-time in favor of freshman Matt Lentz. Before getting the hook Fidler was 7-of-17 for 101 yards and 1 pick. Lentz didn’t fair much better as he ended the day 8-of-14 for 98 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 picks.

Other than Bowser’s 77-yard interception return the most exciting play of the day came from another Bulldog this time from running back Anthony Dixon who shed 3 Wildcat tackles on his way to a 55-yard touchdown run that capped off the win for the Bulldogs 38-10.

Kentucky’s 120th ranked rushing offense continued to struggle as the Wildcats were only able to grind out 36 total yards on the ground. Yes you read that right 36 total yards on the ground.

However on the other side the Bulldogs found little trouble finding the holes as Mississippi State pounded out 169 yards on 38 carries and 2 touchdowns. Most of their success was in large part the work of running back Anthony Dixon who ran for 117 yards on 25 carries and 2 touchdowns in the victory.

Somehow the Wildcats need to do their best to regroup and get themselves
together as they now head home to take on the #11 Georgia Bulldogs who are coming off of a close loss to #6 Florida 24-20 in The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

What to watch for against Georgia: Who takes the ball under center for
the Wildcats? Will it be Fidler or Lentz? Regardless of whomever it is their going to have a rough time against the Bulldogs defense.

Team Pulse: Moral is down and players are searching for answers.

S-NO FUN IN LEXINGTON

Lexington, KY (AP) A case of déjà vu hit the Wildcats Saturday against the Georgia Bulldogs as the score again read 38-10 at the end of the game in a finally playable winter wonderland. “It’s great to actually be able to see where you’re at on the field as opposed to last years 2008 version,” said Coach Mitchell.

The first-half played just how many expected it to as Georgia jumped out to a 24-7 lead before heading into the locker rooms. In the first-quarter Georgia put up 14 points thanks to a Caleb King 12-yard touchdown run and a Mohamed Massaquoi 6-yard touchdown catch from Matthew Stafford. The second-quarter played out about the same for the Bulldogs as WR Kenneth Harris reeled in a 1-yard pass and K Blair Walsh banged through a difficult 37-yard FG.

Matthew Stafford didn’t stop airing it out in the second-half as he threw two more touchdown passes, one to FB Brannan Southerland and another to his favorite receiver of the day WR Kenneth Harris who caught a 15-yard pass in the corner of the end zone to give Georgia their 5th and final touchdown.

The absence of stud RB Knowshon Moreno who was out due to a broken wrist which he suffered back in week 5 against Alabama didn’t seem to slow down Georgia’s running game as they still found a way to rush for 113 yards on 35 carries.

Dropped passes continued to plague the Wildcats as they let 11 passes hit the ground that should’ve been caught. This didn’t help the Wildcats offense who already had to abandon the running game which had -18 yards on 18 carries for a -1 yard per carry average.

Next up for the Wildcats are the Vanderbilt Commodores who are also riding a 3-game losing streak.

HANGIN' BY A THREAD

Lexington, KY (AP) With just two games to go in the 2008 season and two wins away from bowl eligibility, Kentucky knew they would have to take out Vanderbilt first if they even wanted a remote shot at playing thirteen even if they did have to go through rival #19 Tennessee to get there.

The first-quarter and a half was dominated by Vanderbilt as the Commodores put up 14 points before Kentucky even got a sniff at points of their own. Late in the second-quarter HB Tony Dixon found the end zone on a 1-yard TD run that got the Wildcats on the board at 14-7. Dixon got his first start of the year as Coach Mitchell tried to find a spark for the much maligned running game. Kicker Lones Seiber finished the first-half of play with a 48-yard FG that put the score at 14-10 at half-time.

The third-quarter was largely dominated by defense, yes defense, as the two teams shared scoring drives a 40-yard FG by Lones Seiber for Kentucky and a Jeff Jennings 3-yard TD run for the Commodores after which K Bryant Hahnfeldt promptly missed the PAT to make the score 20-13 in favor of Commodores.

The fourth-quarter was controlled by the Wildcats as WR DeMoreo Ford hauled in a Matt Lentz pass for 28 yards that tied the game up a 20 with just under 4 minutes to play. After Kentucky forced the Commodores to go three and out, the Wildcats put together their best drive of the day which culminated in a Tony Dixon 2-yard touchdown run that eventually became the games deciding TD. The 9 play, 73-yard drive that ate up 3:05 off the clock was started by what seemed to be perfect reads by QB Matt Lentz in which he found 6 different receivers for 51 of the 73 yards of the drive. The tandem of Tony Dixon and Derrick Locke did the rest of the 73 yards as they played a crucial part in bleeding the clock. The 27-20 victory over the Commodores puts Kentucky in contention to go bowling, however unlikely beating rival Tennessee after their bye week might seem.

Re: Building Ashley a Winner: GJEM’s Kentucky Wildcats Dynasty

23 AND COUNTING

Knoxville, TN (AP) “We gave it all we had today. I don’t think our players had anything more to give.” Those were the words spoken by Head Coach Garrett Mitchell after Kentucky’s near upset of #17 Tennessee on Saturday afternoon.

Kentucky came out of the gates strong scoring on their very first possession on a Matt Lentz designed QB draw which gave Kentucky an early 7-0 lead. Tennessee’s defense tightened up from their as the held Kentucky out of the end-zone and off the board on their next 4 possessions of the first-half. Kentucky’s defense couldn’t do the same as they allowed Tennessee to put up 17 points before the half ended most of which was the work of HB Montario Hardesty who scored both of the Vols TD’s – a 7-yard catch and a 3-yard run.

Two Lones Seiber FG’s in the third-quarter inched the Wildcats closer to Tennessee at 17-13 entering the fourth-quarter. The fourth-quarter started with a bang as CB Trevard Lindley gave up not one but two huge TD’s passes, one of 44 yards and the other of 48 yards both TD passes were to WR Lucas Taylor who finished both plays by outrunning Kentucky’s secondary. The two huge TD passes gave Tennessee a 31-13 lead. Kentucky never accepted defeat as Coach Mitchell allowed QB Matt Lentz to air it out on every play which resulted in two more TD’s for Kentucky. Both TD’s came through the air as Matt Lentz found Dicky Lyons for a 4 yard TD the brought Kentucky a little closer 31-19 but in desperate need of a defensive stand. Kentucky got just that as Kentucky’s offense went back to work and after three long passes Matt Lentz found Aaron Boyd in the back of the end-zone for an 8-yard TD that made Tennessee fans sweat as the score was now 31-26. An unsuccessful onside kick gave the Vols great starting field possession and a sure fire FG. After a great defensive stand by the Wildcats defense Tennessee had to settle for a 44-yard Daniel Lincoln FG that still kept Kentucky’s hopes alive at 34-26. With no time-outs left Kentucky had only about three plays to work with and on their final hail marry attempt LE Chris Walker broke free and striped QB Matt Lentz which Walker was able to scoop up and run back 46 yards for a stat padding TD as Kentucky fell short of their upset bid of Tennessee 41-26.

So with the loss Kentucky dropped to 5-7 on year which has them falling 1 win shy of Coach Mitchell’s goal of playing 13 but hey there’s always next year.
