What roster were you using? The lowest I've ever seen someone leave was like a 83-84. You must have had an all-around low ratings in you're legacy, or the C had A+ potential.

That's ridiculous! A 72 rated center turned pro after his redshirt freshman season? wow

I'm using these: 2011/2012 PS3 Roster Project and it eight seasons into the game.

Ratings for players are not low at all. The C had a B+ for potential. The two seniors ahead of him had ratings of 86 and 84.

I found a senior from one of the small conferences who was a 76 overall enter the draft. lol I found that rather amusing as there were many seniors in the power conferences who were in the 80-85 OVR range who graduated. He, undoubtedly, is the worst player in the draft class by far.

I wish there were more instances of one and done in this game. As much as I would like to see this in real life, far too many players stay until their Junior and Senior years so the freshmen and sophomores don't leave early as they do in real life.

I also wish players would leave if they had "First Round" or even sometimes "Second Round" under their pro buzz. Seems like they only leave if theyre a lottery or top pick.

Re: Interesting things that's happened in legacy.

I tried to get cute and redshirt a junior center who was low 80s because he was blocked by my senior center and I figured if I redshirted him I'd have him as my starter for 2 years instead of just 1. He turned pro anyway

I had a 7'5 center leave after his sophomore season and he was only a 76, that's the strangest I've seen. Height definitely plays a role, I've had 6'9 centers rated sky high that stay all 4 years, but those behemoths can't wait to go pro.

Look at the bottom of this thread FINAL POST-PATCH CH2K8 CPU VS CPU SLIDERS by JUKEMAN It has a method of making All-American's leave early.

Do you remember what the 7'5" center was rated in his recruiting class? Overall? Position ranking? Stars?

There are two things I wish I could change in recruiting in this game. One of them is the number of 7-foot recruits. The fact that you can sign a 2-star 7-foot center and can get double-doubles out of him on a consistent basis isn't very realistic.

The other thing is the amount of PGs that are in the top-25 of every recruiting class. There usually is at least 15 of them in the top-25 and teams like Duke and UNC will sign at least one a year because they are rated so high.

I don't remember his positional ranking or overall ranking but he was definitely a 3 star guy. I used to scour the list for the tallest centers and recruit the extreme giants no matter how many stars they had. I think he came in at 7'3" and grew 2 more inches once he got on campus.

Totally agree with both points. When it comes to bigs, if it's your first year of closed legacy you almost always need a center. I remember doing a legacy with Maryland Eastern Shore and brought in a center rated like 59 or 60, but was 7'1 and dominated the glass, routinely making a run at 20 rebounds. He sucked in the post but I could out tap everyone for boards and eventually it would go in lol. A 7 footer like that who can change a game shouldn't be a low rated prospect winding up at UMES. If he was 6'8" it would've been totally different, but I'm too lazy to do an open legacy and adjust the heights myself for everyone in the country.

I agree with this. I'm currently making a draft class for the previous year of my legacy to import into an NBA Association in NBA 2k12 whenever I finish, and nearly all the 1st round and 2nd round players are seniors. The top pick and lottery prospects are a mixed bag of juniors and seniors with two sophomores and no freshman. Duke also has 3 PG's in the draft, who are all projected from top--->lottery. In fact, at least 35-40 percent of the draft class are point guards.

But regarding one-and done players, I've seen some in previous legacies I've played. Most of them are top ranked HS All American PGs who start off in the low to mid 80s as a freshman. By the time they are in the upper 80s near the end of the season, they are already lottery picks.
