Future Recruits?

If I don't take the time to edit upcoming recruiting classes, will the game begin to become filled with players that drag the gameplay down? I've seen this said on a few forums. I just want to play the game and recruit and not have to worry about having to edit, but I guess I will if it is a must.

Now if I do have to edit which kind of legacy allows editing? Open or closed?

For your answer on recruits, check this thread.

If you do a legacy I would advise to do an Open Legacy, with an Open Legacy you can pretty much do everything u would in a Closed one, with the added option of being able to edit players from any team, including your own.

not true. Played many seasons without editing anything except appearance. Just know the difference between a good scorer and a good defender, which can be done with the ABL.

Depends on how you look at it. The recruits in general usually have pretty low shooting tendencies, so several years into your legacy you aren't going to see many players scoring 20+ PPG if you don't do any edits.

Re: Future Recruits?

In closed legacy post patch you are able to edit other players not assigned to your team.

Not the ability to change ratings but everything else including tendencies is allowed.

I've generally had no problems however one or two classes will come around that just bog it down for a year (at least until they are Juniors).
