Who Should I Use in open legacy?

Dont have the game yet just ordered it off Amazon.

Anyways I dont want to do a career legacy because I like to stick with the same team for a lot of years so I will do a open legacy but also want a challenge. I'm looking to be a mediocre team in a good conference like the Big East, SEC, Big 10, Big 12, etc..

Any ideas?

Also I will be using the latest rosters so I dont want to pick a bad team who is good now lol.

The Big Ten has a few options such as Northwestern, Minnasota, and Illinois.

Re: Who Should I Use in open legacy?

Northwestern and Minnesota are good choices. I was looking at the individual team stats (tournament bids, championships, stadium capacity, etc.) and noticed the game has Northwestern down as never having a tournament bid. I don't know if they've been invited since the game was released but I think it'd would be pretty gratifying to take a team with no bids whatsoever and turn them into a powerhouse.

Lol, now that I think about it, after I go through my career legacy (start with Bethune-Cookman,then go to FAU,and finally become a juggernaut with U of Miami.) I think I'll start an open legacy and build up Northwestern.

Northwestern was my choice if I leave Toledo. I think it would be fun to build them up.

I would go with San Diego State. Coached that team in my legacy and won a championship. Not big school so expect only 1 or 2 5 stars. most will be 4. Closed legacy you would be a pretty good coach if you are at this school, so it would be easy to pull the players wanting good coaching.

Oregon State, Rutgers, and Auburn would be good for what you are looking for.

Re: Who Should I Use in open legacy?

If you're going with a Closed Legacy, Texas State is always a great choice. Brandon Bush is a stud for that team and would be your go-to guy to start. If Open Legacy is what you're going for, go with a bad team in a "BCS" conference.

An idea you could do is customize conference, so you could pick a team that is Closed Legacy eligible, but move it into a big conference. So take Texas State for example. Pick them for Closed Legacy, but then move them into the Big XII so you get to play against the big boys while still building your small school.
