Has anyone been able to sign the #1 recruiting class?

I just finished year 6 of my career legacy and my 2nd year with Gonzaga and I had 8 scholarships open to recruit with (I used 7). I ended up signing 2 Five Stars, 4 Four Stars, and 1 Three Star. 1 was a All-American, 3 were Mr. Basketball, one was a JUCO, and none of them were "world recruits". I thought for sure that would be the number 1 recruiting class, but it ended up being ranked 7th!?!?!

Here were the top 6 classes:
UCLA: 2 Five Star, 5 Four Star, 1 Three Star
Duke: 2 Five Star, 1 Four Star
UNC: 3 Five Star, 1 Four Star, 1 Three Star
Alabama: 1 Five Star, 3 Four Star
Xavier: 2 Five Star, 1 Four Star
UCONN: 2 Five Star, 2 Four Star, 1 Three Star

I don't understand how I at least didn't finish ranked 2nd behind UCLA? Does anyone know how the game computes recruiting rankings?

I am playing on Career (Closed) Legacy and is currently in my 5th season with Florida Gulf Coast and I never get the #1 recruiting class yet alone a top 100 class. I will be lucky just to get a 3* player. I play on M.O.P. by the way. I really don't care if I get All-Americans or not. It's more funner this way making a less talented player into a star.

The game values ALL-Americans.

I got the #1 class 3 years in a row. Try to get AAs and you will see better results.

the closet i have reached was top 5 with 5* AA SF who was one of the top 10 recruits. After signing him i had got the top recruit achievement. Anyone sign the #1 Recruit yet. In all the CH2k games only had one #1 recruit but left after i signed him to coach at Duke.

Duke, UNC, UCLA and Kansas get the#1 recruit almost yearly in this game. If you coach them its VERY easy to sign the top 10 or so recruits.

One year Arizona had the #1 recruit. depends on what side of the country they are in and what are they looking for i.e. getting good playing time, good coaching, etc.

Best recruit Ive ever had was 6'6 5* Mr basketball outta Cali.

it goes by overall rankings of each player. If you signed world recruits and JUCO 5 stars sometimes they don't rank them high.

i remember signing a 5* world recruit and he was a 60 ovr. i cut him immediately

I did it once. I can't remember what it was (it was a while ago) but it was during my Closed Legacy. I was very happy with my recruiting - I'm pretty sure I won the National Championship that year...
