Who plays on mop rather than AA?

I have been plying on AA but need a better challenge, does playing on MOP ruin the fairness of game play.

I was playing on All-American and found it to be too easy, so I switched to MOP and lost 3 of 5 in the middle of conference season.

Of course, I switched back to All-American and still lost, knocking myself out of first place.

The one thing I love about this game is the momentum factor. I looked unbeatable a few games ago and now I'm suddenly mortal. Very realistic.

To answer your question, I don't think MOP ruins the fairness of the game. I think it's very hard to play defense against the CPU on the MOP level, and I had to switch because I just couldn't stop anyone. But if you mess around with sliders enough, you'll find something you like.

I would actually recommend staying on All-American and adjusting the sliders for whatever is too easy. Are you making too many threes? Adjust the three-point success rate. Is it too easy to stop them on D? Raise their offensive awareness and tinker with success rates. The possibilites are endless.

I just bumped it up to mop now that i am used to these new sliders. It was tough getting used to them with a couple of close losses

I like MOP too, but had to adjust my sliders somewhat. In AA the pick and roll was money too many times, I use 100 defensive awareness for the cpu and this really helped the pick and roll problem. The only other problem I have with MOP is how the CPU always goes inside on back cuts and so on. I know you can play 2-3 and others but what sliders are you guys using on MOP. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Even the main sliders like shooting, CPU off awareness, and others.

I played MOP for a while with some sliders I found, but it was actually easier than the AA sliders I was using. In my 8th year of closed legacy (EIU - BSU - UW) and I've settled into a set of AA sliders that cause me to beat the teams I should (95% of the time), win against my counterparts about 70% of the time, and beat teams that are better than me probably 40% of the time. It's a real nice balance, I went 26-9 (tourney games included) with Wisconsin last year with these sliders.

So basically what I'm saying is: sliders had a larger effect than difficulty on my game.

I started with a version of Heelfan's AA sliders and basically tuned them to be harder. I do not have access to them now, but if you are interested in specifically what I have, send me a PM and I'll get back to you when I get a chance.
