Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started a closed legacy with north florida. got dominated in non-conference, started 1-9! Now I've hit conference play and currently 5-1. Looks like all the beatdowns in the non-conference were worth it. Just for fun, I checked N. Florida's record for 07-08 and they were 3-26 (1-15) so at least I surpassed that mark lol. I love this game. Current record: 6-10 (5-1 in atlantic sun play)

Starting in career you will have options for Dartmouth and Brown.

I've had a chance to take over Harvard after a few years as Amaker left for a new job.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I am doing a closed legacy with Western Illinois. I finished my 5th season with the team and went 26-5, finishing second in the Summit League, but winning the conference tourney to get a 14 seed in the big dance. I lost a heart breaker in the opening round to Arkansas. I was so mad, because I felt that this was a team that could make a big run. With 3 of my seniors graduating, I decided it was finally time to leave WIU behind. I was offered a job a Nevada that had 3 players with an overall 80 rating, but I felt that may have been too easy of a gig. Instead, I chose the 7-23 Southern Illinois Salukis in the Missouri Valley Conference. They are pretty horrible. Actually, 2 of my recruits will start right away as freshman at 74 and 68 overall. The MVC has been very competitive over the last couple years, and I'm excited to join the fray.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Finished my 3rd season at Detroit with a 23-5 record, 16-2 in Horizon League. Had the 1 seed in the conf. tourney and was flat out dominated by the worst team in the field in my first game. I was hoping I had a strong enough resume to make the NCAA's, but was relegated to the NIT.

First round at Albany, we easily dispatched the Danes by 49 (they shot just 26%). Second round at a solid Rhode Island, we had a 4 point lead at the half but it was all Rams in the second half. Tried everything I could to keep it close but no luck.

Started year 4 with a 5-0 record including an OT win at #23 Washington, but lost our last game on the road against a tough Rider club. Brought in the #30 (I think) recruiting class and a transfer from UCF that should give us one solid year next season. Hope this is the year we can break into the Dance!

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

After an awesome 13-2 non-conference record, my team did what any regular team does. They lose the conference opener 105-80 on their own court to an inferior team. I have a feeling this might be a long conference season if that's what my team is going to play like.

Trying to 3-peat with Duke in my 5th year there after 6 at Baylor winning one title with my Alma Mater. Thinking about getting caught up in a scandal and banishing myself to the SWAC. Might try to take over TSU. I wanna build a small school now. This is such a great game. I can do pretty much whatever I want.

I'm currently 5-3 with losses to Richmond, Penn St (ACC Big 10 Challenge), and 15 minutes ago Auburn. I can't win on the road. Currently starting a freshman guard, senior shooting guard (best player 17.2 ppg), sophomore forward, senior power forward, and freshman center.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

So I'm on to the next season, following my Elite 8 run at Kent State. I lost my starting SG, PF, and Center. My lineup features the transfer from Texas, JR Negsu (PG) and the 7 Foot Center Neil Krauser. Here's my lineup:

PG JR JR Nengsu 88 ovr, Lottery buzz, 18.5 ppg
SG SR Romeo Rice 73 over 9 ppg
SF SO Jerod Beatty 73 ovr
PF SO Lew Camper 74 over
C Neil Krauser 77 over 16.6 ppg

SF FR Shaun Miles 75 Over
SG D. Graham 74 over

In non conference play I go 9-7 with my hardest non-conference schedule yet. I had wins over WVU, Baylor, Washington. Losses to Kansas, Xavier, TCU, Marquette, Clemson, Maryland. Some wins against scrubs thrown in between. I'm currently 4-1 in conference after losing on the road to my nemesis NIU.

Negsu is projected to be a Lottery pick, but I hope he stays.

UCR 11-16
UCR 14-14
UCR 17-12
Kent State 24-9, Second Round
Kent State 25-7 First Round
Kent State 30-6 Elite 8
Kent State 13-8

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started a closed legacy with the SD St Jacks. I added a SF to give me at least one decent player (not great). So far I am 2-2 w/ upsets over WKU and Murray St, losing to KY and Louisville. I love to run, but until I get the players I'm running a bleed the clock Princeton style w/a 1-3-1 matchup using my SF up top to slow down PG's. KY and UL lit me up, but it slowed the other two.

K-State and kansas around the corner, looking to get my RPI up before I get into conference.

Finished conference play with a 14-2 record, won the Atlantic Sun regular season championship. Just started the A-Sun tournament battling with Florida Gulf Coast who I coincidentally just beat 54-42 on the road in my last regular season game. Game was back and forth with me missing a few shots at the end to win it. FGCU holds the ball for the final possession, misses a layup and gets the put back with 2.6 seconds on the clock. so 2.6 left on the clock and I;m down 53-51, I heave it downcourt, get into my PG's hands, drive to the 3 point line and shoot a prayer...and it GOES IN! I win 54-53 in the first round of the A-Sun tourney. Amazing game...I almost screamed lol. Current record 17-11, riding an 11 game winning streak.
