These rosters are in the works and should be done by the summer...All Coaches are named already(asst. Coaches too) and profiles are complete
Transfers are all on their new school or in the player pool(Transfers like Binghamton's DJ Riveria is on their new school roster despite playing in the 2007-2008 season, basically since these guys didnt play much in 2007-2008 they wil sit out on their new team and be eligible in 2008-09..All other 2008-2009 transfers are still on old teams)
Dead weigth players are all cut(players who rarely played in 2007-2008 and are not on 2008-2009 rosters IRL)for more schollies for Legacy mode
The Injury rating is set to 35 for more injury(still not enough)
The Dunk ratings are set to either 50 or 99 so the CPU will actually play like they can dunk the ball(User will need to decrease their dunk sliders)
Specialized positions so there is a college feel:
PG- has to have a 80 in BOTH passing and ball handling
SF- HAS to be a starter, NO bigger than 6'8 240 with guard skills(think Carmello, Durant and Lebron)
Center- Has to be atleast 6'8 260 or over 6'11(6'11 220 will be a center)
The main and common positions will be SG and PF...Why? Becuz these are the only positions where the CPU will plug in players at multiple spots(SG plays the 1,2, and 3 PF plays 3, 4 and 5 positions) This will also help with the rotations in your lineup...Remember when that walk-on PG for duke always play alot despite being the 12th man? Well no more!(for more house rules PM me)
Every team will have two different recruiting priorities for better recruiting from the CPU
Teams will have a noticable difference in play styles thanks to my signature 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 scale(whats the difference in 56 and 57 in tempo?)
Teams will have 3 different defensive sets which will relate to their style of play defensively...EX: Wisconsin will be primary a Man 2 Man but REMEMBER this a legacy starter so their second and 3rd sets will be 2-3 matchup and 1-3-1 matchup(which is a man defensive BTW lol) Ive seen plenty of games where a team would play a out of style defensive base on the matchup they are facing and who knows wat Wisc would do if their man 2 man defensive was struggling all season in 2012...
No team will have ALWAYS or NEVER set for the Press option:
Teams with ALWAYS will become AFTER BASKET
Teams with AFTER BASKET will become OCCASIONAL
Teams with NEVER will be DESPERATION
Teams with OCCASIONAL and DESPERATION will stay the same
Always= press all game, non stop, up by 50
After basket= press after the basket made only, all game, up by 50
Occasional= press on and off, after basket or time out, stop pressing when up by alot
Desperation= only press when down by alot, after basket or timeout
Never= NEVER lol
Only thing left to do is lineups, appearances, positions, hometowns, ratings(just dunk and inj...used a base roster with ratings done) basically I will do all these things per team starting with the American East Conf..
Also future propect(mock draft from 2009-2012) will have 99 potential
Players left for the draft in 2008 all have 99 awr and 99 potential(this doesnt mean they will be unstoppable, other ratings were not touched) including Caracter(UL)
Sr's like Wallace of G'town and Chris Lofton or anyone else who always get drafted, potential has been decrease to stop them from taking up spots in the NBA2k8 draft class
UNC starting 5 is back for the 2008-2009 season despite having 99 potential and still a top rated school in 2007-2008
*Note on the 99 ratings*
The Super fresman will have 99 in AWR but they will not play like they have a 99 in AWR becuz of their game experience meter(if playing with default team unity(on, slider at 100...havent tested when off or lowered) they also wont become "coaches on the floor" untill NCAA tourny time in their Sophmore season which they should be gone by...
These will be uploaded to 2kshare unless I run into the glitch with the names, if soo I will use the transfer kit if anyone is interested...BTW these Rosters are for my enjoyment so if you dont agree with some changes thats fine, im just sharing my work
