2009-2010 PS3 Roster Project

Can someone post last year's roster for me? I wanna use those while these new ones are being done.

Finally finished with my roster project! Uploaded on 2K Share not 5 minutes ago.

Here's what you'll find:

• Big 12, Big 10, Big East, ACC, Conference USA, SEC, Atlantic 10, Pac 10 conferences fully updated. Re-did the ratings to the best of my ability.
  
• Mountain West conference "partially" updated, i.e., I re-classified players, shed as many seniors as I could, and "filled" the rosters with some low-level recruits from the generic player pool. Anyone who wants to update these to reflect real life players, knock yourself out.
  
• Edited rotations based on 09-10 projections.
  
• Recruits may be somewhat overrated, however, I did this to get the surefire "one-and-doners" such as John Wall, Derrick Favors, etc. to declare for draft after one year.
  
• And finally, I added some 2010-11 recruits such as Tristan Thompson, Jared Sullinger, Josh Selby, etc. to the teams they've committed to and redshirted them.
  
• File is listed on 2KShare as WCC Major Conf. 09-10 roster.

Haha, no problem! Finally took a vacation from work so I had some free time between doing this and yard work.

Anyway, it looks like I may have jumped the gun on my favorite team - multiple media outlets are reporting Xavier Henry is going to play for Kentucky instead of Kansas. Not official, but it's looking that way....so an update is already needed.

Just took a looksy over the file, looks very good. The only thing I personally don't like is the super-highly rated freshman before they ever play a meaningful college game.

'07 class had studs at the top, '08 didn't and '09 is supposed to but I like to let the players prove it on the court before I go handing out high ratings to freshman. Wall at a 91, Favors at an 89, etc are things I like to avoid. But those are easy enough to edit to my personal preference. I didn't look but is Wall the highest rated player in the country at 91?

The rest of the ratings look good though, I like that most players are below an 83 overall.

Only other thing I noticed was that Elliot Williams is a walk-on at Memphis, is that suppose to be the case IRL?

Nah, the Elliot Williams walk-on is an oversight on my part. Trust me, you're gonna find plenty of oversights - most of my edits came after 10 p.m. on most nights, lol.

I understand your concerns about the freshmen. Like I said in an earlier post, I re-purchased NBA 2K8 just because I liked seeing how my CH prospects developed on down the line. Wall, Favors, Henry, etc. are 99.9% turning pro, just like Beasley, Mayo, and Love a few years ago. I guess I could have rated them lower out of the box and then re-edit them after the season to get them to turn pro....not sure Wall is the highest-rated player on my edits. If so, well, my bias played a part in it. If my memory serves me right, Cole Aldrich was around a 91 or 92.


Another thing I would like to point out is that I could not find a "transfer" list anywhere. Rivals used to post one but has not this year as of yesterday. So you'll probably find some players on rosters that are no longer on their respective teams. I made sure some of the high profile transfers (Seth Curry, Elliot Williams, Derek Character) made their way on to their real-life teams, but that was just going off the top of my head.

However, I did update most of the coaches, so that part should be complete.

I think someone talked about taking this roster and updating the rest of the teams...if so, that would be pretty sweet, especially if the EA Sports game turns out to be a dud!
