**OS Community Rosters 2K8 (360) Corrections Thread**

This is a problem with the original roster and not anything you guys did, but Michigan State is missing Drew Naymick, a senior Center.

Kentucky has several walk-ons that are not in the game. Kerry Benson (http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php...ange_well_id=2) has been getting about 10 minutes a game off the bench, and Mark Coury (http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php...ange_well_id=2 has been starting at center. There are four other guys that probably just going to get garbage time minutes:

Dusty Mills (http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php...ange_well_id=2),
Matt Scherbenske (http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php...ange_well_id=2) and

My original thread got locked for some reason so I couldn't respond to a couple of questions, but my comments (copied below) weren't meant to be negative towards the OS roster guys. I know these mistakes were 2K/ESPN's fault:


2K evidently used the bad roster for EIU that is posted on espn's site. They have guys w/ the wrong numbers and class...which made the OS Roster guys put in the wrong name for at least one guy. Here is what I see:

Freddie Perry #23 is actually Mike Robinson, 70 ovr, and the top player. Perry was a manager starting last year, but ended up on the roster after injuries. Don't see Perry on the 2k roster...should be #20.

Wrong Class:

#13 Willhite listed as JR, but is a Sr
#30 Brock listed as FR, but is a So
#54 Joliff listed as FR, but is a So
#45 Cisse listed as FR, but is a So

This scares me if ESPN is that wrong on other rosters and 2K used them.

#42 for New Mexico is Kem Nweke. He is sitting out this year as a transfer.
#25 Blake Harden for New Mexico has left the team.

The coach for Liberty is Richie McKay not Danny Rocco.

Please post clear underrated / overrated players... Try to be objective and support your suggestions with facts.

Gerald Henderson should move from 73 to 77-78. Athleticsm + Shooting.
(Just scored 26 on Illinois I believe and he's now starting)

Starting 5 should be:
Thomas
Singler
Nelson
Henderson
Paulus

Scheyer as a 6th man getting more minutes than Henderson

Some other minor change (I may be non-objective here):
Singler 76 to 80: Mainly improve rebounding, blocking and posting and off awarness. He's a PF

King, he's a PF

Zoubek: Lower Rebouding a little bit and inside shot.

Smith: Increase him a little bit to 74 - reduce 3pt shooting, improve awarness a bit.

Thomas: Increase awarness a little bit, should be close to 72.

1. donte greene from cuse is a 71 koufsto from ohio state is a 73 they both need fixin

Watch-out for Koufos (not sure how good he is) but Center with low overall can be absolute beast so upgrading them is dangerous. For example Zoubek is rated 69 (which is not very good) but plays very very well in the game..

2. The Badgers G Trevon Hughes will need to be bumped up. He is a 69 on the file. He is averaging 19.8 pts, 5.3 reb and 3.3 on the early season. He'll need to be moved into the starting lineup over Bohannon. Just to raise him to 72 i did. +10 O awr, 3's +8, PA +3, Stl +5. Minutes should be around 30.

Starters for Wisconsin should be:

PG - Hughes
SG - Krabbenhoft
SF - Landry
PF - Butch
C - Stiemsma

3. Malik Hairston, Oregon, should be at least an 81, with increases in 3pt shooting, Medium range shooting, and post D.

4. Drew Naymick needs to be added to the MSU roster, he's a 5th year senior who contributes a lot of minutes


5. Patrick Mills 6'0 175 FR PG from Saint Mary's should get a boost.
He just dropped 37 on Oregan to beat them.

his ovr now is only a 61.

6. larry wright #5 from st. johns definatly needs a boost. hes a 65 in the game yet hes averaging 17 pts a game. hes a deadly three point shooter and his 3pt accuracy should be boosted. hes st johns' best player hands down and hes rated as the 9th best. he needs to be at least a 72.

Some will say that increasing the overall rating isn't necessary for some "underrated" players and that we only need to give them more playing time or increase their tendencies. A good example of that would be Eric Gordon who at 82 still plays like a 90 player.

Still, I think that for Pro status, pre-season rankings and some really underevalued players.. it is needed.

I'd like some input from a Vols fan.

Jajuan Smith and Tyler Smith (I'm a big fan of those) but their overall at 87 and 82 respectively seems a little high for my taste (87 = top 15 players in the game). I dropped it back to 85 & 80 (mainly awarness and slacked a bit 3pt shooting.
