360 Roster Download Question

I'm probably getting a 360 soon and I was wondering what I need to get to download rosters for my games? Thanks.

Do you need a memory card for that? I planned on getting the one from Datel today (after an entire day to typing out my own rosters and only getting 1/3 of the way through them all) and that requires a memory card ($15 for the Datel transfer kit and $40 for the memory card from Best Buy).

If this xport thing doesn't require a memory card and it's only $40 then I might get that instead.

NZ Buccaneer...how did you convert the .z36 file into an Xport 360 file...also, what is the file extension for xport 360. I can't get it to work.

Re: 360 Roster Download Question

convert the file to a .bin one (http://www.360gamesaves.com/modules.php?na...getit&lid=4) make sure you name the output file as something.bin otherwise it will not work.

Open Xport 360, load the bin file, find the folder and copy it to your desktop. Now connect your HDD, find the appropriate profile folder and drag the folder from your destop over.

And no, you don't need a memory card for this, just the 360 hdd

Re: 360 Roster Download Question

If you have an Xbox 360 with a Hard Drive or a Premium Xbox you dont need to buy anything just detach the hard drive and hook it up to your PC!
You dont even have to take the HDD out of the case. just unscrew like shown below and throw away the Metal Skirt in the Trash (for easy accesss baby)

Use Xplorer 360

Save your money for a Xbox 360 game instead of these gimmicks!

I have been using this method for a long time its all I know! And best of all its FREE!

Datel ahem "borrowed" a beta of Xplorer360 rather than develop their own, which is fair enough given the race to market for this sort of product. Maybe they should have some sort of support agreement in place with the Xplorer360 team.

several competing products seem to be using or involved with Xplorer360 and 360gamesaves.com, including 360sata.com’s hard drive adapter. If one of those companies decides to pay for Xplorer360, then I could see Datel’s support being cut off quicker than John Wayne Bobbit’s John Thomas. Hopefully my fears are unjustified but only time will tell.

Real Simple

1.Unscrew your hardrive with a torx screwdriver as shown above and hook it up to your PC.

2. Run Xplorer 360

3. Transfer Saves

4. Game On

Cost $0.00
