Stay the hell away from PSX rosters

I posted a message on the board regarding his roster update, from which he got from here I must add. I mention that he corrected not a damn thing. My post wasnt so harsh. I only added that I was doing the work I thought he did or at least he mention he did on his post with the release. He erase my post. I re-post him to confirm my post being deleted, and why is it that the roster update he posted as his updated version, still have obvious issues. He said when he release the roster that all credit went to OS, but then went on to say that he went thru some, not all that he mention he did previously. He even edited his post to reflect his so call mistake. The rosters have very few corrected errors, and added lefties. I download both versions and he did nothing but add 20 created 2007 HS seniors to the rosters from here. Now, thats ok. But to top it off, he sent me a private message saying that he had no time to do all the corrections, and block me from posting on PSX. Blocked me for now. Well DT, the hell with you. I had read that you steal rosters anyway, and repost for your little contribution. Well let this be known that the real guys are over here at OS working hard and ask for nothing. Get a life. I am officially starting a ban the PSX site movement.

Re: Stay the hell away from PSX rosters

I actually read his original post about the rosters a while back and I don't recall him actually mentioning that they came from here once. He simply said that he had found that "others" had already finished rosters.

Re: Stay the hell away from PSX rosters

its just a sneaky business move thats all. you dont say that they ARE yours, but you dont say that they arent.just let your reputation and star power take it from there.

People see banners for CH2k7 Rosters.. AVAILABLE NOW... BUY NOW

which links to a BUY IT NOW roster/memory card info page

You then proceed over there and not once does it say that He did or DIDNT speciially did the rosters. rather it gives instructions and the ability to buy from him and get the card or mail your card without really know who or what went into it. he has that business planned out quite well.

I cant say that I agree with that tactic. you can of course blame the buyer for not digging in for enough information before their purchase. or the seller for knowingly deceiving the buyer into cutting out all "unimportant" info and just giving them the basics.

i mean damn straight he DOES give credit only in the specific thread for the rosters in a whole other spot from where you actually buy the things. but that banner and its URL give little information. there shouldnt be assumptions left up to the consumer in times like this. unless he tells them when they pay that he didnt do the rosters your buying, i just bet he's hoping they have a misunderstanding of information and donate regardless.

i know how it is

i've been very loyal to his site, but i must admit that there are no updates coming out like a couple years ago that he's getting a little lax about keeping that site updated. i don't think it's fair to be cruel to DT, but there are good sites out there (like this one) that provides other options.

A couple of years ago a few of us on here busted our butts to finish the March Madness rosters for the Xbox. DT then "stole" the rosters and passed them off as his own. I posted warnings back then about him and he basically trashed and harrassed me to no end for it.

The guy flat out steals rosters from other people's hard work. He may not try to 100% pass them off as his own, but he sure doesn't do much in the way of making sure others know where they came from. I have no respect whatsoever for DT Linder and PSX rosters.

He is without a doubt a douche bag and I cannot stand him. He has stolen rosters for as long as he has been around. Sadly though he has his cronies who blindly follow him and defend him all of the time (that or he creates numerous names per site, which I wouldn't put past him).
