ESPN CH 2K6 PS2 Official Roster Project

This may be a bit premature, but I'm trying to get the sign-up sheet for the different conferences going now.

For those who have not been involved in this type of thing before here's how we do it. You have to have a Maxdrive or Sharkport to dl the latest roster and then post it back after you have finished with your conference. And make sure you let us know what version you posted the file in Maxdrive or Sharkport. ALSO MAKE SURE NO ONE HAS THE FILE OUT BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO WORK ON IT. To prevent this make sure when you take it out you post that you have the file and approximate time you plan to finish. Only take it out if you plan to work on it right then so it's not checked out with someone not working on it for too long.

If you get stuck on a player, do not change them into someone else or just randomly name him unless you are 100% sure he is a mistake. Just post the team and the player's info and other people will help figure it out and we can come to a consensus as to who he is or who he should be. As you can see from below you can sign up for a conference or two before the game comes and then as soon as the game comes out we can be prepared. If I left something out let me know.

If I had a Max Drive for my PS2, I'd definitely be down with that joint. Hhhmmmm, I wonder if they're considering getting one out for the Action Replay?? Definitely would get on that. Where do you check your rosters by the way? ESPN.com or somewhere else??

Is Action replay going to be rendered useless once the 360 rolls along? Sorry if this is off-topic.

I like to think I'm pretty thorough when I do my conferences. I use ESPN, official team sites, cbssportsline.com, ocsn.com, scout.com, Athlon mags.

I've never dealt with Action Replay, so I don't know much about it, but I do know they make a converter from Max drive to Sharkport and vice versa. I'm not sure about AR though. A lot of people dog Max Drive, but I think it's really easy and i've only ever had one problem (erased everything on my mem card), but I now keep an extra mem card just for transferring from the max drive to combat that problem. I hope PS3 will still be able to use Max Drive or they at least have something that will work.

How long does it usually take for those to come out? I think if we get enough peeps that know what they are doing, we can have them done in a few days.

first, i'm wondering what exactly is gonna be the uniform way of going about this...are we only to add names, or do you want us to change years/hts/wts to be more accurate, are people going to change rankings, create freshmen, etc? but i'm down for doing the WCC, and depending on school when it comes out, i'll do another 1 or 2....but i won't get the game RIGHT AWAY cuz i lvie in canada, hope is to have it within a week of the 7th though.
