PS2 Maxdrive Help

I am trying desperately to implement the new rosters onto my PS2 College Hoops college hoops game. However I have corrupted two memory cards in the process. If someone don't mind, can you post step-by-step instructions on how to do so?

If there is a thread somewhere on here that outlines the process, can someone point me to it?
