Last two OU/Texas games I've been to:

I'm in the mixed opinion pile. I would be happy to be in the current Big XII with the addition of West Virginia and Texas Christian, but hindsight is 20/20. In the long run, I think this is what A&M wanted ever since the end of the SWC, but it's going to be a long road to get anywhere near the top.

2. What teams are you most excited about playing?

Louisiana State, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida

3. What stadiums are you most excited about playing in?

Bryant-Denny Stadium & Jordan-Hare Stadium look interesting

4. What do you think you're team will do this year?

6-6 (2-6)
A&M vs Florida is gonna be huge that place is gonna be rocking. I don't think Florida will be all that intimidated since they are used to places like LSU but for our Young Qb's will make it a fun game I think...

Can't wait to start the season.

Kinda a little off topic, but most of the people I've heard have just been assuming Georgia would beat Mizzou, but I think Mizzou has a decent shot of knocking off Georgia in their first SEC game. With the suspensions of Rambo, Commings, Ogletree, and Smith (not sure if Smith is suspended that game or not), along with the home crowd and it being a night game I would expect it to at least be a very close game.

That's going to be a crazy game. Kyle Field is an amazing place to take in a game, especially when it's a conference match-up. My Uncle knows a ticket holder who gives him the option to go to a game every year and to him it's like Christmas Day. I think he's going to the Sam Houston State game this year, but hopefully in the future he'll give up a game against an SEC team.

As a Georgia fan I can't lie this game here kinds of scares me with all those suspensions and Crowell being kicked off the team this game could get really intresting plus like u said its on the road at night. We gotta come to play that night.

To be honest, I don't get why people are so down on A&M being relevant. Why are LSU, Alabama, Florida and the like so much better? Sure, they're better right now, but there's a lot of potential for A&M to be really good. They have a pretty good fan base and they live in a really rich state for recruiting. Keep in mind LSU wasn't exactly a top program before Saban came along and look at where they are now. I think A&M could be a contender down the road.

That's not entirely true. They were the 1998 Big XII Champions have have had many competitive teams. They aren't going to win outright now, but they have the foundation to build for the future.

I stand corrected.

They really didn't do **** in the Big XII outside of 1998.

I kid, I'm sure they will be competitive pretty soon.

As a native Texan and someone who lives smack dab in the middle between College Station and Austin, I hear both sides of it on a regular basis. TAMU really does have potential every year, but their teams a lot of times don't live up to expectations and always seem to fall just short.

Getting out of the Big 12 will be good for TAMU in the future. It will be very rough for them the first year(6-6 is my guess), but getting out of the same confrence as Texas will instantly help their recruiting because no longer does TAMU have to deal with Texas swooping in and grabbing all the top recruits. Yes, those two will still battle over the top talent in Texas and TAMU will still lose out to Texas, but no longer will TAMU have to deal with Texas saying, "you know, come to Texas and you can beat A&M for 4 years...go to A&M and we'll be beat you for 4 years." The SEC will help A&M lure in recruits they couldn't before simply because it gives recruits who are recruited by both schools a different option Texas can't offer I believe.

Also from what I hear Sumlin is changing things for the better there. I think he alone was a good choice and change of pace from who has coached there in the past. A&M's past few head coaches weren't all that spectacular and the majority of the problem if you ask me.
