Temple doesn't deserve to be in the Big East at all...

They were kicked out because they couldn't draw a crowd at all....has that changed? NOPE

Then they struggled the last couple years to go 500 in the MAC....that's not going to cut it in the Big East.

They actually averaged a little over 28,000 last year, and have had a pretty good record for the last 3 or 4 seasons.

So 28k in a stadium that holds 68k....

That "good" record won't last long, no more Bernard Pierce to carry the team for them. Plus now they will be playing against more difficult teams where as in the MAC there might have been 1-2 teams that could truly test Temple.

Nah it would still have been a mess no matter who they added. ESPN would have offered them money to re-up early, Big East says no, ESPN pays ACC to take 2 Big East teams. Things fall apart.

Anyway, Marinatto did a terrible job, got fired for doing a terrible job, and now the sky is falling. Makes sense to me.

Only reason they got in was Marinatto ****ed things up and they were the only team willing and able to pay their fees to leave their conference early. Oh well, at least its an easy road trip for me.

Whats really funny is that the presidents voted down the new buyout after WVU, PITT, and SU left. I can gaurentee that each presidents meeting in that league is as uncomfortable and awkword as it gets. No one in that league wants to be there, its just a matter of time before they get poached again.

Its a shame that this league has callen off so bad, it really wasnt that long ago that the Big East had championship contenders every year.
