Michigan? Really?

Hawai'i fans during the June Jones/Colt Brennan era were ridiculous. The field would end up littered with trash by the end of the game.

I went to the USF WVU game a few weeks ago and some USF and WVU fans got into a little scuffle. Being a former WVU student and a native West Virginian nothing surprises me anymore.

Likewise. I've been to a lot of games at The Big House and I just don't see it.

My Top 3
1. Ohio St
2. Tennessee
3. Florida

Ohio State should be #1. I cannot stand a good majority of the fan base and I am very embarrassed by some of them.

That said, where the hell is Penn State?

Not seeing Ann Arbor as being on that list. I have been there multiple times to watch the Irish play, and they have been gracious enough.

I also had season tickets for 2 years for LSU...and I never saw anything different then any other stadium. They had a lot of fun with other fans. Tennessee is by far the nicest fans I have been around...even after the Irish won...still just a great group of people. I did struggle with Miami fans when I saw the Irish and Miami play in South Bend.

Just keep in mind..there are always bad fans for any stadium/team.

I thoroughly agree with Penn St. especially the year when Michigan beat them with the Manningham Catch at the end. They ripped up ton of seat benches and broke alot more. My dad also almost got into a fight with PSU fan when my father was with his grandson.

I'm not going to say that Ohio State doesn't deserve to be on the list, because they do. But I will say that a lot of the bad Ohio State fans do not actually reside in Columbus. They come from areas like Pataskala, Circleville, Plain City, etc. and flood the campus area on gamedays. This didn't happen prior to 2002 but after the Buckeyes won the national title they all flooded Columbus because it was the thing to do, and they haven't left. And yes I'm embarrassed by the behavior of a lot of Ohio State fans. Just because somebody's wearing the jersey of a different team doesn't mean they're evil. I definitely met a lot of cool Texas and USC fans tailgating before each of those games, unfortunately they weren't universally treated well.

Re: The RUDEST Home Fans in America are in...

Hmmm...I went to the TCU/Boise St. bowl game last year and I must say the Boise fans were some of the worst I've experienced. I don't care about either team and when the game started I was pulling for Boise, but by the end I was pulling hard for TCU.

I must say that the supposed rudest fans in America handled the Jazz Howard thing rather nicely. They even got a helmet sticker for it (LOL)!
