Both are bad but Blount completely lost it after the game. Spikes was just being dirty at the bottom of the pile. That happens from time to time and Spikes just got caught.
You see player doing things in a pile but you don't see players running around the field punching people in the face after games.

I chose "the punch", simply becuase I believe, while not acceptable, things like eyegouging happen in nearly every pileup.

We can all agree that both should not be happening. What did the RB do to Spikes? The other player was seeking Blount got in his face said something(who knows what) and then Blount reacted. I think eye gouging can hurt a person more than a punch to the chin.

Spikes, he could of caused the Georgia guy to be blind. I would rather get punched any day then have my eye gouged out. And the RB was completely defenseless at the bottom of a pile, he had no way to protect himself.
Blount did punch the guy but after that, everyone broke them up and it was over.
Both were bad, but Spikes eye gouging was ridiculous and his "suspension" was even worse.
Being in a pile doesnt make it better, it makes it worse.
