"reads article, head explodes"

Well hell, let's just do away with the significance of the regular season and have bowls for everyone!

PARTY ON BOWL TIME! :-):-):-)

seriously this is stupid beyond words and I hope they don't waste too much time discussing this "proposal". [Reply]

It's already pathetically easy to make a bowl. Why make it easier? What's the point of all of this? [Reply]

Not surprised at all. Lets not forget the Big 12 is comprised of two of the most currupt conferences ever, the SWC and the Big 8. [Reply]

Well, at least it will be easier on Baylor, they would be able to get more money for their program. [Reply]

Big 12 commissioners suck as bad as Pac-10 refs.

I don't think a 6-6 team should be able to goto a bowl. I find it pathetic that teams can goto a bowl game, lose, and finish the season with a losing record.

Bowls are watered down. [Reply]

Money. Another football game to put on TV, sell commercials, and get alumni to buy tickets to. [Reply]

Such hypocrites. They don't want a postseason because "the reg season is already a playoff". And because bowls are a way to reward a good season. Yet, they want to take away opportunities for mid majors to go bowling by allowing Super 6 teams to go w/.500 records. So we're eliminating only teams w/losing records? [Reply]

I wonder if this was Bill Snyder's idea, lord knows he's never believed in actual competition. [Reply]
