I would take Ponder. He is a more elusive runner than Tebow is, whereas Tebow is a more straight forward runner. He is a better passer and has done more on offense with less weapons to work with. He will be the 2010 or 2011 version of Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco in the NFL.

Syracuse's offense is more suited a Tim Tebow like QB so that is who i would take. Also Tebow is a very good leader on offense, cant really put a stat on that.

I know you would take Ponder, everyone here knows you would take Ponder so I don't even know why you would make a thread just to tell everyone what they already know. Also, stop with that "less talent" bullcrap because it's just what it is. You're trying to perpetrate as if FSU hasn't been pulling in top recruiting classes or something. Ponder is having a good season, Tebow has had a great career.

If I want a quarterback for my pro team, I wouldn't hesitate for one second to select Christian Ponder.

Championship vs mediocrity
Personally, I go with the champion
At the same age, Tebow is fighting for his third championship and second Heisman while Ponder is fighting to reach .500

Ponder has better stats but his team is 4-4 and he hasnt won any championship. Tebow doesnt make mistakes and he has that "it" factor, if it's 4th down with 2 seconds left and the game is on the line I want Tebow. The guy knows how to win. Ponder is having a great year, Tebow has had a great career.
