Which one is it?
It's mocking Massnole's claims that Tebow only does well because Florida is more talented.

So if Tim Tebow was at Florida State he'd be far exceeding what Christian Ponder is doing right now?

Just asking, not trying to get O.T.

Tebow wouldn't go to some garbage program like Florida State, but if he did, he'd probably rack up more statistics than he is right now.

He'd be playing far inferior teams, and his defense would allow him to score significantly more points since his team wouldn't be blowing teams out as much.

I don't get it.

What does that have anything to do with the question you responded to?

If I was choosing a team, I would pick the quarterback that gave me the best chance of winning. That's Tebow.

If you plan on being down 6 with :45 seconds left and choose your quarterback off that, I have to question your decision making.

Why wouldn't you?

The person was laughing at the notion that Tebow doesn't make mistakes.

Tebow turns it over less than just about any quarterback ever.

This is not fiction

No, FSU has never been able to bring him top rated QBs out of high school.

Everyone knew Tebow was Florida bound, so wasting the time to recruit him was pointless. FSU at the time in 2006 had Xavier Lee and had early commitments from Christian Ponder and D'Vo Richardson for QBs. I know FSU offered, but really didn't go after Tebow that hard. At the time, D'Vo was a 5* rated athlete by Scout who had him projected as a tremendous QB or S in college. A lot of people thought Ponder was criminally underrated out HS coming out of Texas. I know some Texas experts had him as the second best QB in the state behind Matt Stafford. Rankings wise he was ranked right around Sam Bradford. Ponder wasn't the can't miss 5* prospect that Tebow was, but like Tebow he wasn't as heavily recruited as one would think because there was never any doubt he was heading to Florida State where his father played.

He was also recruited fairly heavily by LSU and Jimbo Fisher, who got him to take a visit. But again at that time, he wasn't recruited too hard because LSU had signed Ryan Perrilloux the year before. USC also received a visit, but again didn't really go after him that hard because of Mark Sanchez. Hell, if he had gone to USC he'd only be in his first year starting as a RS-Junior or he would have been a H-Back like Fred Davis.

Really? Is that a joke?

I didn't say I wouldn't. This isn't Tebow hate, because I would have the same worries with McCoy, although I think I wouldn't mind having either. It just worries me the way Tebow throws ducks and underthrows receivers (dropped pass by Brandon James, but severely underthrown) he should be hitting in stride.

The part I was laughing at with the 'mistakes' deal is how his hand on his throwing motion goes below his waist and how he badly misses throws he should be able to make in his sleep. No doubt he's a great player and phenomenal leader, though.
