Does anyone else hate when the offense lines up and then looks to the sideline?

Does anyone else hate when the offense lines up and then looks to the sideline?

I hate this. OU does this almost every play. Line up then look to the sideline. Shouldn't that be a false start since they were set? Why is this allowed?

Sorry, New Mexico is doing this right now and it's annoying as hell.

Wouldn't recommend either. The purpose is for the O to see how the D lines up and what look they are in, and then adjust accordingly. It's here to stay, and will grow in popularity.

Um, the D is standing right in front of them. They should be able to see the alignment.

Are the coaches upstairs relaying info?

I don't like it. North Texas does it every down and snaps the ball with 1 or 2 seconds left on the play clock.

In some cases, yes. Trust me, it's effective. It's brilliant. Get used to it.
